Please help ive been trying to fix my most brilliant tablet for the best part of a few months to no avail! :(
one day it just stopped booting up past the linux penguin 'Tux' and just stayed on a black screen with the penguin please help i would love to use my tablet again!!!
If your tablet is hanging after flash try following steps
adb into the tablet from a PC and wipe the date. Hook up to PC like you were flashing the unit... wait till the tablet has completed booted... open a command prompt, change directories and type:
cd "\Program Files\AndroidTouchPC\Touch8"
adb shell wipe data
adb reboot
unless your computer is running the x64 version of windows, then you would type:
I did everything to the text of it. when i reset my device, i ididnt see your logo neither i saw any change. I have fr809 and downloaded the one for two speakers and no screws.
You keep saying mini sd in the tutorial and it's written mini sd in the manuals, but it seems to be a micro sd card. The micro sd card fits perfectly. Though when I put the micro sd card in, it never mounts it and I tried your flash/tutorial but when I did the hard reset after the 20 minutes it never showed the new boot image. Any ideas and is it really mini sd and not micro?
I have to ask why are you using the stylus? Is the screen of the unit so bad that a stylus is needed or is it just your personal preference? Im looking into getting this specific tablet and want to know the pros and cons of it. Thanks!

that is a hardware issue, it you are good with a soldering iron message us and we will send you those instructions

I'm having the same problem was Wolfspiritt. After 20 minutes and reset, it boots right back up to original firmware. Why?

just preference as i do not like fingerprints. finger works just fine

i have big fingers and for accuracy in the tutorial i chose to use a stylus but finger works as well
