  • Skilled or unskilled, what Rener did was pretty incredible when you think about the fact that he endured full strength from each opponent while he was gassing. Wait, he wasn't gassing at all! Amazing.

  • @bootybot what are some of the other names of the "rape choke". Do you know where I can find a good instructional on it?

  • I'll spoil the video for you guys: He taps them all out...

  • @chicabobica what a spoiler i knew he would

  • Damn! Much respect to Rener! That's some serious Cardio!!! That kid is legit!

  • Anyone have a link to a good video description of the choke Rener does @ 2:29?

  • @RASHskins you'll struggle to find a no Gi guide for that choke, it amazes me that he sunk that with no Gi.

  • at 2:21 is that choke legal normally?

  • @killymckillkill Nope!

  • @killymckillkill Its a rape choke and its legal in BJJ if thats what you mean. You can also use it to escape someones guard. In the guard you put two hands on the throat. Put tons of pressure to choke them and as you do, hop to your feet, your feet go above his belt level. Kneel slightly and push your hips forward and the guard will break, but watch out for your ankles, he may grab them and try to sweep.

  • 3 words I can say now about GJJ: "I love it."

  • I bet the Gracie brothers would clean up at a submission only tourney.

  • @BJJANDKARATE yh i will still love to see it and he says it on numerous video type in Core Strengthening - Lower Back Injury Prevention with Rener Gracie

  • @BJJANDKARATE rener said ryron is miles better than him

  • @FraldinhoBJJ

if your that confident in Rener's lack of skill, take a trip to California and roll with him, or fight him, they still accept challenge matches. Rener and his brother have alot more to gain from teaching and developing programs than a MMA career.

  • why doesnt rener gracie go the UFC?

  • @judgerofwars because he cant actually fight.

  • WOW!!! no doubt bro. no doubt... thanks to Gracie Family and all who are behind in showing the world the effectiveness of Jiu-jitsu. \m/

  • @kellum634 it has a lot of different names. but ya that's what joe rogan and the 10th planet crew call it so yes.

  • 33 opponents in 29 minutes!!! Gracie Jiu-Jitsu all the way! Nothing needs to be said!!!

  • People just need to relax. There's too much seriousness and beef over none sense. It's like people are running around with their balls on their sleeves. Put the pride and ego away and enjoy the video.

  • Rape choke at 2:30? Jesus...

  • @PeidoLord Crossing your feet is a basic no-no. However, you must understand that Rener is very long limbed and his opponent is not very big in this case. Rener won't feel much at all from his opponents pressure on the ankles. If his legs were shorter and his opponent larger then leverage can be applied but in this case it is not enough. Also....you should realize as well that Rener knows this. ;)

  • Hahaha... that guy almost had a chance at 5:10 when rener crossed his feet from the guard!

  • RENER GRACIE VS RENER GRACIE MATCH PLEASE THUMBS UP IF YOU WANT TO SEE THAT AS WELL

  • Rener I believe you made a mistake at 5:09. On the rear mount you crossed your feet instead of setting your hooks. If the guy would had been more experienced he would've triangled your feet. Just an observation.

  • @teamsilvamma I'm thinking a 5th/6th degree black belt knows whether or not to cross his feet.

  • @R0bert2169 Relax Robert. I'm not offending anyone. I also am high ranked in BJJ and it doesnt mean I dont make a mistake every now and then. Rener could have meant to do that, but in general, crossing the feet on a more experienced fighter would get your ankles triangled.

  • @R0bert2169

+1. That guy looked pretty buff and Rener might have been a little tired after fighting for ~15 minutes. He was probably more concerned about the guy using his power to roll back into Rener's guard than getting submitted at that point.

  • @R0bert2169 crossing your feet for a second can make the guy think he has an easy way to get you off his back, giving you split second to sink in the choke while he shifts his focus. You just have to be ready to uncross them as soon as he bites.

  • @fatguyonthc Nice, I never thought of that but the psychology is true, I've been on both sides of that!

  • @teamsilvamma these people are noobs dude they are not gonna know that they have that opportunity and surprise black belts are not perfect 100% of the time anyway.

  • @teamsilvamma Crossing your feet is a basic no-no. However, you must understand that Rener is very long limbed and his opponent is not very big in this case. • I cant believe the blindfolded guy did better than most of the rest of them .lmao

  • what do you call the choke at 2:25 ?

  • @chrisSosa a submission...! iIm not sure of the name but legal, which it seems you already know.

  • Nice try guys, not everybody can say they've been subbed by a Gracie. Good Stuff!

  • Great Job Rener, was really cool to see you in action and very cool to see you employ Relaxed.Efficient.And.Leveraged Technique. :)

  • him and roger would be the match of the decade

  • @chnazm Roger is a different animal!... I like Rener's Jiujitsu, but Roger would be too much for him. Roger is the best it been proved time after time by submitting the very best in the world....But anyway we will never see this happen. Nice thought though!

  • @caveirao101 Roger is like a blanket for sure, but both guys have pretty much the same jiu jitsu style, nothing fancy very basic. im sure rener, ryron, or even ralek could hang in there with roger. but yeah the weight might be an advantage for roger. i KNOW for a fact that the gracie brothers in california know a lot of tricks, but only teach the basics. just hold back some stuff.

  • @chnazm

the match of the decade would be rickson gracie vs fedor

  • chipmunks =]

  • hell yea gracie combatives!!

  • one word: ENDURANCE!

  • Awesome!

  • @jonjon1189 - hey mate. It is not that I don't agree with him in the fact that physical training or even just rolling around with someone is obviously better than trying to learn something something in a theory sense. and also you are right just the sheer cardio work involved would be the major point. I was objecting to the way he was implying that the peoples training was worthless and a joke. I am pretty sure if I went into my dojo and said that I thought someone else trying to discipline the

  • aside from silly comments. Video is awesome as his card must be top form, looks like he employes some good energy saving tactics too. always thinking it seems...

  • @billysue2 - you are saying that scientifically looking and trying to understand moves is no better thai chi or that it is 'horse shit' only horse shit I smell is comments like that. how can you say someone studying and trying to understand something is no better at defending themselves in a street fight situation. (Which remember is what the GJJ blue belt is about) than someone unaware of some of these techniques. If you have a blue belt from sparing and more practical training that is great I

  • @LozRiva i gotta go with billy on this one.. if you sit there and watch these techniques then yes you can understand them.. but until your actually in the heat of the fight and realize all the form you lose because your tired then you cant get any better.. its about understanding momentum and how to position your weight.. i would hate to be in a position where im desperately trying to apply these techniques against a guy 60lbs heavier and throwing fists in my face. thats another thing - blocking

  • Amazing... but whats with the broad in the camo sitting on the mat not even watching (she looks like she is giving herself a manicure...)? All that amazing talent right in front of you... and ur not paying attention... hope she's not swat. I can see it now, during some major callout (looking down) "damn I broke a nail getting outta my car..."!!!

  • so is there a name for the choke when he basically just grabs the guy's throat?

  • @drseth00789 rape choke. no really.

  • When Rener had the guy's back (guy in all black who looked to be a bjj blue/purple) and crossed his feet, I think the dude had the footlock right there locked in and let it go out of respect. Such a thing is not really that unbelievable. After going against a bunch of spazzy noobs, and then having a random one or two legit guys thrown at you you're bound to be a bit sloppy. Not to mention Rener was completely exhausted I'm sure...

  • @afreiden there was some pressure from the guy in black arching to put pressure on the foot but not much since Rener was threatening the choke the whole time, if he focused 100% on the foot lock, Rener would have 100 % choked him. also the lock wasn't that effective because he CROSSED THE WRONG FOOT OVER. for this foot lock have maximum leverage you must cross the same leg over the foot crossed on top lol. you gotta try though, Rener is a scary dude.

  • the 36 lessons is a misnomer. you have to go through each lesson at least 3 times before you move on to the next sequence and you HAVE to practice with a resisting opponent. I have refined my technique 1000 fold with the online course because Rener and Ryron are such amazing instructors. I really appreciate GJJ because they are always harping on "punch safe" techniques that sport BJJ schools don't focus on very often. More "street" applicable.

  • I study GJJ through the online university and I have to say that I love it. I have rolled at a traditional school and I actually prefer the level of detail and instruction on the online class. I can rewind and view a technique as much as I want and then practice that technique with my buddies that are also studying GJJ. There is tons of metered practice, reflex development drills, fight simulations and all techniques are street applicable.

  • @smeghead28 the techs and instruction on the university are impeccable, but without sparring theyre useless as any kata are and tahts why the video grading for blue belt is an outright joke amongst all legit bjj students.A blue belt must be able to use their techs against full resistance or they are not a blue belt.

  • @billysue2 I agree with you in part. I will be the first to admit that a GJJ blue belt is not equal to a "Sports Jiu Jitsu" blue belt from say Gracie Barra or a different sport oriented school. That being said, GJJ defines a blue belt differently. According to Helio Gracie a "Blue Belt" is someone who has the necessary knowledge of the basic techniques to defend themselves in a streetfight against an unskilled opponent. For this reason the "Blue belt" is definitely not a joke.

  • @smeghead28 they wont be able to defend themselves if they havent sparred the techs, that is the whole point of the argument about the combatatives blue belt.Knowledge doesnt defend anything, muscle memory learned under full resistance does. The master cycle belts are proper belts because they spar, therefore you know wheteher or not you can fight, the blue is horseshit,no better than tai chi.

  • @billysue2 Well, you are certainly entitled to your opinion. Although myself and several other police and military personnel have been able to successfully deploy the combatives techniques in a real situation without "sparring" All of these techniques are drilled with a resisting opponent. I have 100% confidence in defending myself against 99% of the idiots out there with GJJ! That is if they get past my gun first, LOL. I will wear all my GJJ belts proudly. Wish you the best.

  • @smeghead28 if there is 100% or even a bit less resistance, that is sparring and so you have arrived at your current ability by going beyond what is recommended for blue belt.If you didnt use resistance youd be useless.Thats why the blue belt is viewed as a joke.Sparriing doesnt mean sport bjj,it may be with strikes which is exactly what gracie combatatives is but obviously not against a skilled opponent

  • Comment removed

  • @smeghead28 The gracie comatives are legit. The blue belt ranking is as legitimate as the blue belts elsewhere.

  • @smeghead28

My fellow Gracie Combatives friend, you have an AWESOME name...AND youre a cop?

    Very cool!

  • @smeghead28 God they have to love you. idiot alpha male types who think because some guy with 20 years training came in and beat you up that he is god. let me explain something to you. im a blue belt and i could have done the same to every last one of you. it looked like half of you didnt even know what youre doing. some of you literally jumped into his triangle choke. dont be pretentious about gjj vs bjj. there are bjj black belts, and americans to be specific who could easily own this guy.

  • @smeghead28

    yep, exactly.

and besides, I dont know what billysue2 is trying to say but I spar all the time as I also practice JKD. Ive completed 3 lessons of the gracie combatives course(3 times over) and ive sparred with all my friends who are all different fighters in ground fighting. of course i kick the ass of my untrained friends and me and my GJJ training partner have some great matches.

Already I can see this course is FAR from a "joke".

It does EXACTLY what it claims to do.

  • @skemeB34 Gracie jiu jitsu is some real stuff. It's great but it takes a while to progress, if you are at a good school.

  • @billysue2 Maybe you should ask Rener and Ryron Gracie whether they think the students they grade via video are "outright jokes"? Or tell them that you think they are putting out "outright jokes" for Gracie Jiu Jitsu students and see what they say. They are very interested in peoples feedback and I am sure they would have a very honest response for you.

  • @smeghead28 I have, they dont respond obviously, its worth a fortune to them.I have no problem with the master cycle but its still hard to judge sparring ability without feeling it.The blue belt could be passed by a complete clown with no ability at all to use the techs under pressure,Id never take that test but do use some of the drills in training.Id be ashamed to wear their belt

  • Put credit where it is due. Kosen Judo = Origin of BJJ. Rickson said in his book that the japanese held back on teaching and taught only the basics because they were non-japanese and thus had to learn and evolve the art on their own.

watch?v=xjidQQz1yjM&feature=related JIGORO KANO > HIRATA SENSEI

  • Thanks to Jigoro Kano! We wouldn't have this beautiful art without him! :)

  • GJJ 4 EVA!!

  • ..... but if two guys are both technically

sound then the stornger man will win...

if you really do jits then you know its true...

GRACIE JITS IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD

  • @donTMFron i guess that would depend on the flexibility of the weaker opponent =]

  • LOL! Dude at 8:40 I am a white belt (almost blue) and when I am training with the purple, brown belts in my class I have learned that you learn more if you dont come off like a hard ass! I bet they learned a lot of great information from Rener, but if anyone of them thought 4 a sec they really had a decent shot of getting him thats crazyyy!

  • Billysue2 I respect your opinion and enjoy our debate. But Renzo's academy is not a sport oriented academy in fact the BJJ that is taught by members of the Carlos Gracie Sr. side has always been considered more for self defense than sport...If you ever come and visit Brasil you will see that there is a totally different side to BJJ than what Rorion's kids teach or say.... Remember there is a whole different world of BJJ here and not what is just taught in Torrance.

  • I read somewhere that there's a major difference between Helio gracie's jiu jitsu vs Carlson Gracie jiu jitsu (the former being less aggresive etc.). Is there any truth to this. Also, I don't think anyone is saying that the Torrance Academy teaches the only version of jiu jitsu. It only claims to teach the version that was taught by the Grand Master, Helio Gracie.

  • etapologia: I think you mean Carlos Gracie Sr... Helio learned from Carlos Gracie and considered him the Patriarch of the family. If you trained at the Original Gracie of Barra in Rio in the early days you would see that they were very aggressive and tough fighters. Just like Carlson Gracie in Copacabana! thats where BrazilianTop Team originated.

  • In the US Helio's side was introduced by Rorion and it was just one piece of the puzzle. Helio will always be respected and admired here in Brasil. But there were others before him like CarlosSr, Gastao and George Gracie.

  • he himself is of course no doubtly very, very highly skilled, but I think the point is that the art is what is good, I think that is why he is rolling with them, to convince them of that

  • @Ronaldinho1021 very well said

  • thank you

  • submitting 33 guys is impressive no matter

  • I agree with some of the posts that say Rener tapped all of them. 33 S.W.A.T. members not just ordinary men tapped out in 29 minutes. THAT'S IMPRESSIVE!

  • what a superb video. thanks for posting. the shoulder pressure from 8.20 onwards was earned!!

  • i thought it was impressive on both parts, yes it says half of them were experienced grapplers but intimidation is a big thing and bjj is not the only grappling art around, alot of grappling arts require neither the guard or the passing of it. the cops did well and held there own as well as they could in a rule based environment, and rener proved why he is one of the best.

  • Would have liked to have seen some less common submissions or at least some less common transitions to the more common ones, e.g. crucifix wedge for the former and half-guard from the bottom to a kneebar for the latter. Wonder how tired Rener got.

  • pretty sure he weighed the least of all 34 participants too ;)

  • no body even passed his guard hahaha

  • this is what happens when pigs fight one on one, on the streets they'd just call for back up and jump their opponent like the gangsters that they are. too bad they weren't in uniform, that would've been much more entertaining!

  • @bebeking88 : Yes, because they're usually grappling with a Gracie. Use your head.

  • good thing that 99% of the douchebangs cops have to deal with have no idea how to actually do a triangle choke

  • At 5:32 was that guy going for the ankle lock? It would have been bad if Rener got caught with that because he crossed his feet and assumed the guy didn't know the counter to it.

  • i think his legs are crossed not his feet so it doesnt work it might have like a calf cutter effect ?? but i doubt anyone would tap?

im jealous of reners long legs :( hence the triangle city !!

  • I saw that too - I got a wee bit nervous for him -for a split second.

  • i agree, that wqas the one spot in the whole video that he was in danger tho. Damn him for makin it look so easy, and wow what a pathetic bunch of cops!!! I guess if ur goona rob a bank and Jiu Jitsu ur way out, do it wherever they came from lol.

  • Yeah, I'm wondering if Rener really was crossing his legs or if his legs were simply crossed because of the position of the other guy's legs. Hmm....

  • Even if some of you on here could tap some of the guys who went against Rener. NONE of you could tap all of them. He did. Much respect to the SWAT guys and Rener for showing all the technique and heart that they could.

  • It seemed like the majority wouldn't have had any submissions in their arsenal even had they passed his guard. Sorry man but that shit was slopppy as hell for a swat team.

  • @andrewhinkle5831 Mind you it is the "JACKSONVILLE" SWAT team...Think about that.

  • can he dodge a bullet?

  • haha

  • Thoroughly enjoyed that.. greatest martial art in the world which we are all lucky enough to now share!!! Thanks to the Gracie family!! for lessons go to Gracie university online.

  • yep!! im om like the 4th and 5th lessons

which are take the back and rear naked choke ...... im gonna get all 36 lessons and get the blue belt.... check me out at the academy my member name is Ronnie Lowe

  • you know I have nothing but respect for Rener and Ryron and Rorion but those dvds that award belts is a joke man. You cant learn this shit by watching DVD's and practicing yourself you have to roll with other people and you are NOT a blue belt from 36 lessons. I am a real blue belt who trained for 3 1/2 years to get mine. I would demolish your dvd blue belt no doubt

  • dude you got jiped son cuz i can roll with the best guyz at the gym from learning and knowing gracie combatives and yes you can get your blue belt in 36 lessons man ...dont be a bitter person cuz you spent a lot of money and time to do what gracie students in a few months...

im 5'11' 220 and i can submit any blue belt... if you are a higher belt holder then you may have a chance but im to strong for guys my size and weight... if you know and thing then you konw technique trumps musle ......

  • @donTMFron yea right my man I dont buy one word of that nonsense, stop smokin while you watch your dvds

  • @joebeast15 dude check me out on gracie academy online my name is ronnie lowe im legit man no bull ... dont get mad cuz you got jacked......

  • @donTMFron hahaha yea I would tell you to check me out but I don't video tape myself rolling, so with that being said I'M LEGIT you dvd blue belt, I know this may be a foreign concept to you but I believe in earning something not simply being given something because I bought some DVDs, I promise you my knowledge is FAR superior to yours because I actually put the time in and learn.

  • @donTMFron hahahah NICE RAP TOO hahahahaha

  • @joebeast15 thanks for the hate need it

  • @joebeast15 I think the DVD is just the instruction base and you have to roll with someone during both training and testing. In the testing you submit an uncut video to the GJJ Academy for review and grading. Its just like having your instructor watch you perform/demonstrate the techniques. The test video includes Fight Simulation Drills, Non-Resisting Technique Demonstrations, Freestyle Demonstration (with resistance).Again, the blue belt, as required by Helio Gracie is focused on self defense

  • such great stamina, i laughed at when they fast forwarded some parts, thought Rener had shrunken himself to fight the munchkins

  • rener just took one hand and choked the shit out of that guys neck ...like you would do when your raping someone lol- check out 2:15 2:30

  • guy at 2:25 tapped from a rape choke- i loled- honestly im a purple belt and i think i could tap some of these guys

  • a rape choke?

  • if a purple belt couldnt tap everyone here except rener he should be ashamed.Very few would tap all of them in a row, thats another thing alltogether.

  • dude Im a blue belt and I would tap everyone of these guys, you damn well better be able to tap all these guys if your really a purple belt

  • I'm a 4th degree white belt, and what seperates Rener from someone such as myself, is the efficiency of technique. His technique is so efficient, that he's able to continue rolling over such a long period of time, even against fresh opponents. That's the magic of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. You don't use strength, muscle, and you don't exert yourself. The technique takes care of all of that, and even nullifies it in your opponent. I hope I can do this someday. 2 thumbs up Rener.

  • @Dionsmusica A 4th degree white belt? : / do you mean, a 4 tag white belt.

  • yea thats a 4th degree- AKA

  • Never heard it been called a degree first, unless its a black belt.

  • shodan literally means 1st dan or first degree

  • Comment removed

  • great video. my lungs would have blown up after 15 minutes lol

  • Reminds me of Rickson´s video sparring with his students after a seminar. Great Video Rener.

    BIG UPS!

  • Rener is toooooooo sick

  • What amazes me is that Rener kept his composure and control at a constant as to not physically injure anyone. As you get tired sometimes you pull on an arm a bit too hard, especially with a person who does not know when, or is too stubborn to tap. I think I might try this at my club with the local PD and see how it works out...I might cap it at 15-20 though...33 guys is a lot and if any one of them catch you that's all they would care about. Props to Rener!

  • I think I counted about 12 triangles? Just shows how easily and effectively that choke can work against anyone at any time! Great stuff by Rener once again!

  • 8:17 ahahahahhahahah

  • interesting display of the ground game techniques. So, reading the text in the side bar right, rener's opponents were not experienced in bjj. most common mistakes I could make our were: bad posture, being off balance, not knowing how to wriggle to a good submission position and being "overactive" while defending...

In most of the cases, their hips were way too high to have a good posture or stable position.

  • ye didnt read it ,it says half were experienced grapplers which is obvious from the way they tried to pass guard etc.I doubt any were high level .He certainly likes the triangle and has the ideal build for it.I never get it ,damn stumpy legs.

  • well, no offence meant, I read the sidebar correctly. It said half were experienced grapplers, only it didn't show on the video. nobody effectively passed his guard, no one had a visible strategy, no one directly went for an ankle lock, which would be my first choice for anyone lying on the ground with his legs up. and most of them moved simply too slowly... i neither want to critisize Rener nor these law enforcement officers. I was just pointin out what I saw on the video.

    Keeping it real

    Smite

  • are you stupid, how are recreational grapplers going to pass the guard of someone training for over 22 years and when he competed a world class competitor.

  • dude I'm sry, I agree that they did not have an effective strategy and did not look like experienced grapplers. A few of them really tried and some even did well, but many were just a sloppy mess. I would expect cops (SWAT!!) to know how to get out of a mount or pass a guys guard. perhaps not rener gracie's guard but they weren't even correctly attempting to pass, it was like they didn't know they needed to pass his guard, Sry, gotta agree w my man smite

  • That's exactly my point. And I don't see any reason to call me stupid.

  • you wouldnt think it ridiculously naive to think a novice to intermediate grappler could pass a world class guard.

  • no strategy works when the gap in ability is so great.Being able to technically pass a guard is useless to any cop, soldier or swat member and I doubt if theres more than a handful of people in the world able to escape reners guard.

  • no offense meant, but read your posts above. You said something about "experienced" grapplers... I was just writing down my observations from watching this video. It's not my wish to critizise Rener, he's a great teacher with outstanding bjj skills. My point is: the cops put on a poor fight, that's all. So, my point is probably the same as Rener's. They need to get into the Gracie Combatives Program and keep on practising until any of them at least survives for more than five minutes with Rener

  • there were obviously some experienced grapplers there but they looked poor compared to rener, obviously. This was a sport grappling match, the combatives program wont make you any good at that and certainly wouldnt improve their chances v rener.Ive already told you cops have no use for being sport grapplers.

  • Experienced? where?....They have as much experience as Rener has Weapons and Tactics skills. I can assure you that if Rener comes to Brasil and does the same thing with guys from BOPE, or CORE where they know BJJ the outcome would not be the same. Rener is good but he is not a WORLD CLASS grappler.

  • @caveirao101 firstly these are sport grappling rules and much of it unaplicable to situations on the street where its unecessary to be good in bjj.Rener has beaten many of americas best grapplers when he used to compete but obviously wouldnt place in the mundials now as he doesnt train for it.

  • billysue2. Rener is teaching self defense grappling for real life situations. At least thats what he is teaching these unskilled SWAT guys. I would love to see Rener try to do the same thing against Paulo Thiago! he is a SWAT guy here in Brasil who fights in the UFC. The outcome would be quite different. What is the point of putting a video of him submitting 21 unskilled grapplers. It shows absolutely nothing.....

  • @caveirao101 being able to submit that many so quick and so effortlessly is very impressive even when they arent good grapplers. He teaches bjj for self defense but they are sparring sub wrestling rules here which is irrelevant on the street

  • @billysue2 Yeah but there really trying lol,He's not.

  • Rener and his brothers are considered here in Brasil average at best. I dont know who do you mean by Americas best grapplers or what tournaments.....The only world class grappler in the last couple of years is Roger Gracie and he has nothing to do with them. He is from Gracie Barra totally different from them.

  • @caveirao101 when they used to compete they won or placed in everything they entered, they never entered the mundials so never went against the very best in the world. All this without ever training specifically for tournament bjj.IF they trained at a sport oriented academy like renzos theres no limit to what they could achieve but they arent interested in that.

  • I agree with you! Its totally irrelevant on the street!...That is why i said what is the point of putting a video of him submitting 21 unskilled people with with sub wrestling rules...In a real fight he probably wouldnt accomplish that.

  • @caveirao101 I think the video is there to just show a fun ending to a seminar; a chance to roll with rener. pure and simple. And of course the techniques do work.

  • without wanting to doubt Rener's skills. As Royler says: The mat doesn't lie!

Rener beating 30 unskilled cops doesn't prove his skills, only their non-skill...

so where's your point? why are you so upset?

I didn't expect any of them beating Rener unless one of them was a skilled bjj blackbelt, but Rener made them look like Bar brawlers...

Cheer up, I don't mean you no harm

    Smite

  • Incredible. Fantastic display of the validity of Gracie Jujitsu. Way to go Rener. 100% - Good to go! -- Kirk and Josh from TN.

  • 2:25 rape choke 4 life!

  • rener is the man.

  • at 5:28 is that guy going for the ankle lock? Would be bad if Rener got caught with that bc he probably assumed the guy didn't know about that.

  • wow...just amazing

when you have someone who has superb technical skills (max effect, minimum effort), and who's in great shape as well, you get rener gracie

  • wow, serious respect for Rener's skills! in fact for all Gracie's

  • just like the old rickson gracie seminars. That is awesome.

  • awesome

  • rener gracie seriously deserves respect.

  • what an awesome quote: " you don't decide when you win, they decide when they lose" !
