The calendar is supposed to end (either with the end of the world as we know it, or the emergence of a golden age, or both, whatever) on 12/21/2012. So, chances are we'll see the show, unless of course it's set to premiere in 0'13. Either way, it's great to see that the Cad Bane song's waves will be floating around in space :)
I don't think it's possible for the world to end until SW in 3D gets here. surely the Mayans took that into account when they made their little dooms day calender.
The Mayans never predicted the end of the world. Their calendar simply ends in 2012 the way our day count ends at 11:59 each night. Then comes the next day.
3D Star Wars is going to be so cool. Also If the Myan Callender is to be belived and we are inside watching 3D Star Wars when the Earth goes boom. I can't think of a better way to go.
