@itstheniceguyme It is..you are right but the video helped me how to use Xcode which is what i need. You can learn how to do the coding by just looking at the widespread textbooks or other tutorials. (or just copy and paste..)

everything works fine except that in "float tipTotal = [billTotal.text floatValue]" etc, it says

"Request for member 'text' in something not a structure or union" whats this mean and or how do i fix it? thanks!!!!!!

That was a great example

simple enough to understand but it includes some very nice features like the picker view

but you should have explained the code that you pasted
