Price floors never fix anything. In fact, eliminating the minimum wage would do a lot more good, as prices could be lowered due to reduced labor costs.

Bankers have gotten together and planned how to keep us paying interest for the REST of our lives. Before this, it only took one person per family to make a living. Now it takes 2-3 working 2 jobs each to do so. That's why everyone uses credit.

If the economy wasn't expensive, which it is on the east and west coasts, f.e., then savings could last a long time, if people were earning the same amount either way. That's not the case though. The cost of living has greatly increased over the past 30, 40, ... years, disporportionately to incomes.
