The butchering of one of the most beautiful pieces ever written; "Morning Mood" from the "Peer Gynt Suite" The clarinet is so far out of tune it sounds like a cheap plastic recorder and the 'musician' manages to be late on almost every note. Does the person on eupho understand that the name of his instrument translates to 'sweet-voiced'? I think not. Hopefully you're on flute it wasn't horrible.

and that they should, because my friends old hermit crabs, he started bathing them daily, and they were pretty unhappy, (wouldnt leave there shells, and if he grabbed them they'd pinch him) where when he stopped bathing them and just put fresh water in there for them to bathe themselves, they were much happier,

there also hypo-alergenic so theres no known diseases that are contracted from them,

I would imagine that the crab is more concerned with the internal fit on the shell or maybe this one has flair as it picked a painted shell over the natural one beside it. Interesting.
Wood shavings can hurt hermit crabs. Use play sand. You can get it really cheap for a 50lb bag

i have 16 hermit crab in a fish tank and alot of other fish and shirmps and i have geckos and snakes and bearded dragon and turtles and so many more . but they dun seem to be eating or biting the hermit crab they seem okay ..

my hermie had a shell with the colors of the U.S flag and i put some small and big natural shells and i saw it change into one of the big ones i am sooooooooo proud ^_^

And giving them a shell that can kill them is very irresponsible when you know it can kill them. I don't even understand why stores sell painted shells. My rule, stay clear of any edges that open into the shell, if my kids can't eat it my hermit crab can't wear it :D. (be careful not to get flaking paint either.)

@JusticeVonBrandt now, it is a 5 gallon tank, i put him in there the day we brought him home becuz the hermitcrab association website said new crabs tend to burrow and molt when you 1st bring them home and that they should be seperated, which is what he did after he changed his shell he dug down deep and re emerged 3 weeks later with little fuzz all over him...

Painted shells CAN in fact be bad but thats only if you're a complete moron and get them at flea markets n such. painted shells sold at places such as pet land wont kill your crab :3 NOW if you still have that shell from the carnival...I would take it out lol...carnival = cheap prizes. Your hermit crab is cute!!! :) It's so cool to watch hermies change shells. I saw Sherbert do it in the middle of the night. Just one suggestion: the paint on painted shells can chip off after all the climbing on eachother hermies do and rubbing their shells against the glass and stuff. If the paint chips off, hermit crabs could eat it and get sick and even die. It may say non-toxic, but what's non-toxic for humans can be deadly to hermies. So take out all the painted shells in the tank please.
we brought an empty shell for our 2 other hermies, and turns out there was a lil owner to that shell, too small for us to notice him inside. I was so surprised....
the crab looked healthy, but don't care for painted shells.

@tomanbryce5 i made this video a few days after i got the crab...the video is like over 2 years old now and i've since learned all the ins and out of owning a hermit crab but you can hold your head up high knowing you can criticize others for being so much better than everyone else...

2. Painted shells are mean! They die from that.

@TheRealPo i don't know what kind of crab he/she is, but i was told it's a "purple pincher". i'm aware of the painted shells. i get a comment/message/email about it every other day. this video is over a year old, made within the first week we brought the crab home, so i've learned alot since then and lastly, thanks for watching.

you shudnt have them in painted shells. they die faster and it took the crab a hard time to get in because that is a man made shell andit is so slick that it couldnt hold on to nothing. so get rid of those please

@JusticeVonBrandt now, it is a 5 gallon tank, i put him in there the day we brought him home becuz the hermitcrab association website said new crabs tend to burrow and molt when you 1st bring them home and that they should be seperated, which is what he did after he changed his shell he dug down deep and re emerged 3 weeks later with little fuzz all over him...

aww , thats cool. Mine hasnt switch shells yet , his name is Paco and i want to get him family , and i eventually will. He never moves ( he is still alive though) but he does come out A LOT at night.

He sliped alot, painted shells have all the grooves sanded down so there is nowhere for is little feet to grip. i hate painted shells

Painted shells CAN in fact be bad but thats only if you're a complete moron and get them at flea markets n such. painted shells sold at places such as pet land wont kill your crab :3 NOW if you still have that shell from the carnival...I would take it out lol...carnival = cheap prizes. Kinda like when you win a gold fish it's actually a feeder fish and dies the next day @___@ darn those carnies or is it carneys? carnys? IDK enjoy the most mysterious creature out there :D

i was finally able to get that shell away from him as he liked changing shells alot..now my other hermit crab likes to take her shell off and go naked...i don't know what that's all about...

@Leepi16 - My brother actually won six fish at the carnival and five of them lived for the next three months! The sixth one lived for another two years! Its possible. VERY POSSIBLE!

Painted shells can kill them. Try using more natural ones, You don't want to know how people get the crabs in those shells :P

Your hermit crab is cute!!! :) It's so cool to watch hermies change shells. I saw Sherbert do it in the middle of the night. Just one suggestion: the paint on painted shells can chip off after all the climbing on eachother hermies do and rubbing their shells against the glass and stuff. If the paint chips off, hermit crabs could eat it and get sick and even die. It may say non-toxic, but what's non-toxic for humans can be deadly to hermies. So take out all the painted shells in the tank please.

i got my 3rd hermit crab almost free....
we brought an empty shell for our 2 other hermies, and turns out there was a lil owner to that shell, too small for us to notice him inside. I was so surprised....
