I'm not a Christian but I study the bible like any other book but gods name is Yahweh translated in other languages as Jehovah (English) Jehova (spanish i think) and so on Lord, Almighty, God, most high those are titles not a name just as humans have titles as doctor nurse dad mom father daughter son grandpa we all have titles but we also have a a name just like god. If god didn't have a name and we are made in his image then we wouldn't have names either just titles think bout it.

In Exodus the god of Moses is wellknown, but this god doesnt have a name. It is Moses who introduces the name I AM, Yah, that became Yahweh. So how do we refer to this SAME god without using that name (because Moses didn't know yet)? So the word "powers"(plural!!) is used instead: Elohim. Genesis 1 EXPLAINS what god is: the powers of nature, or as we call this "god" now: NATURE. The rest of the 5 books is the interaction between nature and mankind.

"YVWH" is the Holy name of the Father... And is pronounced "YAHWEH"... In the 5th century, the Masoretic priests changed the "suffix of YAH" to a common "prefix of YEH," because they felt the HOLY name of the father was NOT for common man... (Jesus) name is "YAHOSHUA" or "YAHSHUA" as STEPHEN is to STEVE, then by changing the suffix to a prefix and getting "YESHUA"...
