  • Not sure who engineered this one, but a steller job.

  • Blast from the past!! Excellent Track!

  • what a GREAT song :D

  • this song is fucking brilliant, awesome band

  • イヤイヤ、当時パーシー・ジョーンズにはぶっ飛んだネ!~グッドソールのギターも暴れるギター、驚異の奏力バンド、BRAND X

  • One of the tightest bands in the business. They are so "on the money" that it's not funny.

  • ファンキー、タイト、いたねブランドX!~ジョン・グッドソールに、強力ベース、パーシー・ジョーンズ、ロック畑フュージョン野郎たち

  • Oh man, I love Percy in this tune! Super Fantastic!!

  • Billy Cobham's Spectrum Suite or return to Forever's Romantic Warrior.....any Mahavishnu Orchestra with Cobham.

  • Phil Collins w/a beard & long ass hair...imagine that...lol!

  • Thanks for this!! My number one favourite for Phils drumming.... masterful! Great guitar solo too!

  • great!

  • Phil doing what he does best: not singing :P

  • @JonP1961 nice XD That actually made me laugh XD

  • Ahhhhh wonderful Brand X!!! This is very sound!!! Great great band

  • I love this album, can anyone recommand any opther fusion albums similar to this one?

  • @seb2112 Check out Gong - Espresso II for some good fusion

  • @SpagsJippy Already checked it out because of your other message... I'm on the fence about it. It's not bad, but not even close to Unorthodoz Behavior. Guess I'll have to play it 2-3 times to decide if I really like it

  • @seb2112 Ah, well Percy Jones actually had his own group called Tunnels, which you probably already know about. If so, there was a great lineup of musicians in 2000 with Vinnie Colaiuta on drums. GREAT music. Search youtube for "Vinnie Colaiuta baked potato" and you'll find some great stuff.

  • @seb2112

Same band, "Product". Phil Collins' last work with this band.

  • @seb2112 Marscape , Peter and the Wolf is great. Al dimeola, Stanly Clarke, Triumverat( is out there),King Crimson is kinda rock fusion,Billy CObham, Return to forever,David Sanches,Marrilion, just to name a few.

  • @seb2112 Check out these groups(most likely out of print): Skywalk "Silent Witness", John Payne/Louis Levin group, Alphonso Johnson "Moonshadows", Pat Martino "Joyous Lake", Lenny White(early albums), and maybe Jeff Beck "Wired". That should get you started.

  • @seb2112 Stanley Clarke - School Days, also look out for Return To Forever's Romantic Warrior.

  • @seb2112 Check out: T-Square (a japanese fusion group) especially their track "Explorer"; Al Di Meola's "Race with the Devil on Spanish Highway"; Greg Howe's "No Place Like Home"; Level 42 "Mr. Pink"; and Soft Machine "Tale of Talesin" all can be found here on YouTube.

  • @seb2112 Dogcheese, Vinnie coliuta & Michael Landau

  • The correct title is Running on Three.

  • This is so great. Same playing style of Collins you can hear on early Genesis like selling england by the pound , nursery cryme and Foxtrot.

Since 1978 please forget Phil Collins.......

  • IPANAEMIA . I absolutely love it but havn't heard it in years as my tape was knackered. Oddly-It's my favourite.

  • thanks for posting all these tunes. brings back memories when i first started playing drums. heard these tunes and said " what the F*** is he doing!!! awesome stuff!! thanks again!!! their is one tune i am looking for but can't remember the name.

  • I heard recently that Phil recorded his latest album (of Motown covers) with the drum sticks taped to his hands! I believe he still knows what he does best. Long live this fusion stuff!!

  • There is one song from this album that i really liked but cant remember the name of it but i know how it goes. It doesnt seem to be featured here.

  • I don't have every recording posted at the moment, I'm hoping one day I'll have most up. I'll get to posting the rest of this one soon. Subscribe if you'd like to see updates.

  • The radio never plays "Real" music!

  • Smash the radio.

  • I try to get this on Vinyl

  • spags...

Love their tunes.. its been a Sunday morn tradition for me since 1978....Scotch and Sofa

  • damn man. sweet. thanks for stopping by. its my pleasure to spread this music.

  • That IS music. Radios never play those songs or type of music. They are just playing shitty pop music that is rarely made by a true music lover, the only songs they plays is some pop songs that was juste made for money and money

  • Damn straight. Right on the fcking money.

    Thank you for your comment.

  • Please dont call popmusic shitty. It is all music! You must understand that bands like brandX inspired the producers that make pop music.

    Trevor Dunn said

" Whether I'm listening to Throbbing Gristle or Britney Spears I absorb what comes my way. It's all music to me, & why shouldn't it be? "

  • interesting comment. thank you. the only thing i have against pop music, or mainstream music, if you will, is that sometimes its not REAL musicians. in which case, i dont all consider it true music. but your opinion is perfectly valid. thanks again

  • That's right! Some artists doesn't make their music, it's the work of some other people. That was what I was talking about. I can't stand those ''stars'' that are making thousands and thousands just by singing songs that were made for them and I'm not talking about cover songs here.

  • good pop is an artform, bad pop can be tolerable after many years and when it takes on a nostalgic value, but overproduced, talentless, corporate drivel like Spears music can blow me.

  • @turkeyman32 Every year (in the spring) WXPN - an independent (public) radio station has a 24-hour "progfest". In addition to progressive, they play funk and jazz fusion. Many groups that can no longer be heard. WXPN has some great diverse programming - b/c they are NOT a "commercial" station. If you don't happen to live in the Philadelphia, PA listening area, you can listen online at: xpn.org

  • awesome everything in this song

especially the drums and guitar solo

  • never stopped!

  • Ah yes, the pre-pop Phil ;) when focused on his drumming. "Don't Make Waves" was good as was his stint with Genesis.

    great stuff.

  • You're very welcome. :)

It's my pleasure to be able to keep the good stuff alive. I think it's absolutely awesome that people are still listening to Brand X.

    Thanks. :)

  • Tight. One of Brand X's tightest. Awesome.

  • I agree :)

    .. umm random info, here.

I have the entire discography. If you have any requests, or if you don't have a song of theirs, just let me know, and I'll create a vid or send it to you through email or whatever you want. ;)
