Never tried that one, but in this challenge, there's more variety in what strategies you are able to use, and the levels tend to be pretty low for most of the game. I also decided against using X items in this run (which can be abused to gain stat advantages over the opposition, enabling a sweep).

@MoogleBoss Ah, okay. Well, in the Pidgey-only challenge you have to fight using only one Pidgey and you can't allow it to evolve. Though, you can allow it to level up. I actually started doing it on my pokemon Crystal version. I died once to a geodude <_<

I never realized Surf caused flinching...at least in the older games...AND JEEZ! THAT WOBBUFFET ANNIHILATED A DRAGON 2x IT'S OWN LEVEL.

And Lance's Areodactyl always was that stupid. HOW DID HE BECOME CHAMPION LIKE THIS? And a charizard got taken down by rockthrow...4x weaknesses are a BITCH! Great job with the challenge!

@MAZZ0Murder But in G/S/C, they're about 15 levels weaker. His aerodactyl in R/B/Y has high speed, and that hyper beam of his works better. Anyway, it doesn't have a single rock-type move, thus can't get rid of Ice-pokemon that would pose a threat to his dragon team.
