Mieczysław Najdorf - chess player born in Poland :):), the international world and Poland champion, later the Argentinian player (the emigration of Najdorf in 1939 and second world war :()
What amazes me about kasparov was the way he swept away the other elite super-grandmasters with the najdorf despite their preparing for a clash with him in approaching tournaments with their computers, trainers, AND their own super talent.
I remember him when he was 10 years old when he won a wonderful game against a grandmaster and played a very tricky rook-ending perfectly to win. TOTAL GENIUS!
Kasparov's knowledge is off the charts. I can't tell if these asides are just part of his internal encyclopedia or he prepared them as part of the monologue.
No problem, if you want to see some of his amazing masterpieces with the Najdorf go to chess games and then type after it dut com and then search throught the games
Cool wie der Videoersteller die Züge so schnell eingibt ;).
In which volume can I find advantages for the black-player using Najdorf variation?

Not only one of his favorites; Kasparov is probably the sharpest Najdorf player ever.
