Swan knights?? They arent in the Movie.... they come to assist gondor.. Led by Prince Imrahil..((think its spelled that way)) Well atleast they came to Minas Tirith BEFORE the mordor army, which means they came in before. They come from Dol Amroth, and are theyre elite. Dol Amroth. Are placed at the Shores of Befales.

to everyone that asks what you need to run this mod, and should you get it? 1. Medieval total war 2 is in need. NOT (the kingdoms) this expansion is not needed. Although some very few bugs may appear im not sure. 2. YES get it :D it's definitely the very best LOTR mod to total war series. please thumb up so people gets the answer (: hope it helped..

@Shemon1234 simply download the patches, download a patch file iexptatw patch download or something like it, that stops the game from tracking expansion values ingame that has connection to the required expansion fileparts. Or, if you have problems with that, just go and download a fucking expansion.exe from the internet. I simply used the patch to delete tracks from expasion to mod, until i bought the expansion.

Chariots were used sparingly even in the achaemenid empire. Gaugamella was one of the last battles they were used in because the macedonians figured out how to counter them, quite easily too. Oh and if you cant spell dont post. Its pretty fucking simple. "descents" heh what a moron

The elephants, or oliphants, (or whatever they're called in lotr) can easily take down heavy infantry. The best infantry really doesn't stand a chance against them even in bulk. So you should never be afraid to charge them strait into a mass of soldiers. Only certain missile troops are really a threat. Any siege weapon with good aim can eat them up, same with armor piercing ranged weapons (spears/crowsbows), and fire arrows can cause amok. That's their only real weakness though.

1 for the alexander expansion and by far the best there is...its called "loftr"

and the one he talks about is for the kingdoms axpansion called"the third age"

You made one big mistake, always make sure your Mumakil never stand still, if they do, they get slaughtered (especially by uber heavy gondor fountain guards). I always let them charge through all the lines of the enemy, make em run a little further, turn around and charge again, then repeat that until they are all broken and battered, then send in your cavalry to finish the job, and ta-da! you win.

Romans never even met the Persians cause their empire fell during Alexander the Great's campaign which was 3 centuries before the Romans started expanding their empire. And the Persians used chariots not cavalry archers and the whole point of the chariot was to charge at the enemy because of the blades they mounted on the chariot wheels to break infantry lines. You also spelled coincidence wrong. Your comment has so many things wrong.
