  • Hello Steve.

This has also happened to me several times as since starting trading in the past 2 months.

The 1st time, I panicked and sold asap.

It appears that the "downdraft" candle wicked out and came back up (Long bottom wick, small body). It happened to me last week...but I didn't hit the bid right away. The stock ended up coming back close to where it was, with a 5 cent drop. When it happens again, I wait a couple seconds to see if it is a head fake.

    Regards,

    Steven A.

  • Thanks for posting this.

Although getting out is the best thing to do often on a blip (stops, exogenous events) the market comes right back, but in the heat of the moment you're more than likely going to move to the sidelines.

  • To: Schatzdog.

This can be a very unnerving predicament regarding a sudden drop in price. This is the not so good aspect regarding these low price and volume stocks, that they can be manipulated in the blink of an eye! Many traders do suffer because of this and the more size, the more suffering. This is the reason that, although it may be alright for some, I do not like to trade these type of stocks that require an abundance of size; for, this adds significantly to the risk.

    Best wishes.

  • I guess even though it is about probabilities, never forget the notion of possibilities.

Good job of our posting this. Cheers,
