  • Awesome sound!! Tell us a little more about how it attached it to the can.

  • that's got a great resonation tone love that man.

  • I love it! I'm making one out of a cookie tin and I hope it sounds as good as yours when I'm done.

  • Hey..Can You Give Me Some Info On That Electric Guitar In The Background..I Have Racked My Brain Tryin To Figure Out A Way To Get All The Electronics Inside Without Ripping The Can Apart..Thanks

    Hensley1212

  • @Hensley1212 Ha! I am having the very same problem... I think that the answer is to install the electronics like music stores would repair a semi-hollow electric... Cut an f-hole (or use one of the existing holes in the can), and find a long set of needle nose pliers and fish things through. Truthfully, the guitar has a huge hole in the back because I was lazy... And the whole thing failed because of the way I installed the neck. It ended up blocking the electronics.

  • Thanks for the inspriration.

  • Great sound,. thanks for sharing

  • Can you make a video discussing more in-depth how you made the canjo? I'd be very interested to see it if you get time. Best of luck!

  • I would love to see your cookie tin banjo when its done!

  • Thanks for posting that to my site. I like it. I also built one out of a 2 gallon can once, and found it to be about the perfect size for anyone who is used to a banjo with a resonator. Anyway, great job. Sounds awesome. Like the scoop neck.

  • oh i get it now...canjo. cool.
