The only thing I don't exactly agree with (and I'm hoping someone can correct me) is the whole 1955 part. They had the IRS in 1955 too so they would have taxed his money back then as well. So I don't see why they're making it look like the IRS would take all the money he made off the gold, gas and the stamp if they would have taken it in 1955 too. Someone please explain the significance of that part to me.

@Quillons1 And regarding the financial crisis only a few years ago (of which the effects are still visible), part of that is due to large masses of households being unable to pay back their loan on their house (mortgage?).
European banks who had shares in American ones got into problems, those who didn't are doing just fine. Americans do have a share in it, which they do not want to admit/see.
