meh, hate to be the bearer of bad news here but ask any professional fire eater how they think this is done, and we'll tell you heat moves up, and all his fire moves up away from his body while never touching it, which makes it less amazing considering toungue transfers and vapor tricks. Just because science can't explain it doesnt mean its real, look up Banachek.
This is one of the best videos I've seen on this. I read about this same kind of performance in South Pacific, also. It actually very old and it hasn't been unexplained for a very long time. Early European colonists reported seeing these sorts of events. I'm glad to see that these practices still exist. Makes me feel all is not lost because of "modernity," whatever that really is.
Hey God, we see your having a big time, and lots of drama, proveing your not just human. Please don't get upset if we have a small cosmic laugh while you switch from Swami to Swami student to unbeliever the one reading my words and searching.
all things is bull shit but its up to ones own common sense to say thats true n thats false. in the end they dont care for any ones approval, if they can thats good for them if not thats also good for them
I have to agree with the skeptics here, we need more proof. I was ready to believe the yogi levitation thing before I saw what seems to be a balancing stick is actually what holds them up entirely.
You mean the shaman or the Swedish guy trained in India? The trick the Swedish guy done was actually quite a well known trick, but still impressive in my opinion.
Refering to the fire yogi. I would like proof myself, but I think it's something you rarely ever get in this confusing world. I've become disinteresting in proof or truth. What I search for now is things I enjoy doing and that makes me feel better. I'm concerned little in how things work and more in the actual result.
try yoga out so u can see if its false or not take nothing by faith as the buddha has said. faithlessness, become more desire less, detachment of all emotions, external&internal matter, n want nothing try to destroy the want this or that, then if true u enter other realms if not its ur own falt. u have a mind, enlightened beings has a mind then do it urself rather have faith take action.
I already follow the path of occultism, I'm not going to drop a path that's already flexible/working for me to take up a path that demands complete renunciation of everything. I don't think its too much to ask for some degree of proof when this man is veiling his body in a robe and laying in an awkward position AND performing in front of people. All of this puts doubts on his authenticity.
I'd say that's long enough to at least have some burns. He's also been scientifically tested. At least that's what it says. I'd have to watch the DVD. Though if it was "real" science then there should be some peer-reviewed report on this somewhere.
No rational explanation? There is no clear view of this guy actually being exposed to direct flames for any significant duration of time. What is to explain really? He could also be using various chemicals on both skin and clothing.
But didnt they conducted GC/MS and other tests for the chemical profile for the material which was used? The results were negative except that they had some hydrocarbons which is natural being that it is a cloth after all.
Khecari mudra is supposed to make you immune to fire. I wouldn't recommend cutting your tendon to attain this practise though. I even read that practising this mudra could cause insanity. Probably the kind of insanity that would make you want to lie down on a massive barbeque, LOL.
These are all trips plaing with energies and is not really a path to "God". Pure devotion and praising God's name and living a good life serving others and family is the best wa of Divine Grace to find God while living life.
The whole universe is pervaded by fire, but is anything being destroyed by fire? Fire is that which sustains life. Only those who do not know the divine nature of fire are afraid of it.
Someone from MIT says how it's due to the sweat he produces. It doesn't sound likely but it's the only "conventional" explanation I can think of. I've had trouble buying this from Amazon so I can't really comment any further.

I am doing Khechari mudra over a decade. This will bring mental stillness. It is not making one immune to fire. (I didn't cut tendon/frenulum).

Great quote, gocool.
"These are all trips plaing with energies and is not really a path to "God"."
It wasn't ment as a path to God. It was a ritual for world peace. Though fire is a powerful purification symbol so it could clear away blocks to God.

That is the power of yoga
Hardline yogis in Hardwar pilgrimage in India have stood and walked "on one feet" for a few years!!
Take it from me... I am not kidding
This is devotion to god, that he is willing to sacrifice and devote the body to god
That is the essence of the meaning of all these things forcing onto oneself
