@bbody1000 You dont need to put them in the addons folder at all. They aren't in addon format, so they require a different installation. If you watch part 2, it has a little bit more detail on downloading non-addon files.

When I try to download It it says I have to sign in to download so I do, then when I try to download a mod it says:

That account doesn't seem to own GMod.

If it does - it's set to private, please make it public for this process and try again.

@thecomputernerd233 Go to Steam and click on the "Community" tab. Click on "Edit my Profile" on the right. Go to "settings" and there it should show your profile privacy settings.

@frottoify At 2:20 I opened up the first garrysmod folder, then opened the second. As for nuke pack, I extracted it to addons and it seemed to work fine.

@southparkrules97 My trial is up, too. As you can see, when I open WinRAR I get a little pop-up to tell me I have to buy it. But you can just close the pop-up and you can still use it.

So try that and see if it works

@dragon3658 It might be under browse. Did you check the "Garry's Mod" folder? Sometimes a lot of models end up somewhere in that folder

@dragon3658 Most of the time the problem isn't that the Addons can't be "seen," but more that they just weren't downloaded correctly in the first place. Which is totally my fault, because I forgot that a vast majority of the downloads on the website are in weird formats.

I know how to install an addon, some of those things just won't work. I downloaded a few, and they worked fine right. Now a few weeks later I install another addon. And the others won't work anymore. I deleted the addon, but it still won't work. So I decided to download everything again. Still nothing. WTF am I supposed to do? I'm struggeling with this like 2 months now

@321Jemoeder When you say that you "Download everything again," do you mean that you reinstalled the addons or the game itself? Because sometimes an update or whatever might cause them to stop working for no reason. So try reinstalling Gmod. If that doesn't work or you already tried, tell me and I'll try to find a solution
