I grew up in Georgiana,AL I play hard rock music and Hank SR. is my biggest influence. As for one of the top comments Hank is the first rock star. I used to get my great Grandmother to tell me stories about him. She went to school with him at Georgiana High while he was there for a short time. Anyways he is one of the Greats. Please tell me the name of this doc. and where i can buy it.

my dad raised me on hank williams and all that old time country just seing or hearing some of his old shows gives me chills. here recently there was a tribute to hanks realm at the strand theatre in shreveport la i attended sad to say very few people. jett williams his daughter was there and playing his old songs made it feel as though as hank is still alive and carried on with her.

Johnny Cash and Waylon and Willie were the only guys I liked then I heard this man sing.

He changed my views on the world.

I PERSONALLY AM ONE OF HANK WILLIAMS' VERY GREATEST FANS, AND I THINK HIS FAMILY WOULD WHOLE HEARTEDLY AGREE WITH ME WHEN I SAY THAT I THINK IT'S FINE FOR THESE 50'S POP BANDS TO HAVE DONE HIS SONGS LIKE "TONI BENNETT" "GUY MITCHELL" "MITCH MILLER" AND ALL THE REST, BUT I THINK THAT THEY PATRENIZED HIM.
