I immediately broke into tears as soon as Gerard began to sing....it breaks my heart to think about all that cancer shit and disease and everything else bad in the world. But MCR makes it seem like no matter what happens, everything will be okay. ='}

I actually knew Umbrella Academy before MCR, I loved the comic. And one day a friend catches me flipping through my collection and is like, "You know your man sings?" I'm like (totally honest) "Who?" She rolls her eyes and points to his name, I asked "Isn't Gerard a girl?" She gave me the first album and I still thought Gerard was a girl from the amount of times she called him "Gee." And his voice is freakishly high, but I still love him. His comics are excellent.
