Fortunately I found this video after failing to get further from a first row collapse from the jonakashima video. The explicit calling of the zig-zag reverse layering was key to my success here. I had folded the mini-ball previously where I used a zig-zag technique but was not cognizant of its significance for full magic ball. @GeneralissimoGeorgel You have to be patient, but the amount of time you use is very individual. I guess you can do it in less than 6 hours. Not sure, cant remember how much time i spent making it. Naturally, since you have to be VERY prescice when folding, you can end up failing simply because of bad folding, even though you understood the entire video.
