  • The old guy is Raoul and the old woman is Madame Giry the older 1 not Meg but yea and the b/w scenes arent flashbacks its suppoded 2 b the present the story the color scenes are flashbacks

  • Alright, to set the record straight the music is the orchestral version of Giacomo Puccini's "Un Bel di Vedremo" from "Madame Butterfly" and the other song is from the actual soundtrack for the film "Requiem for a Dream".

    Now, no more arguing about where the music came from!!

  • The Vicount did not own the opera house he was the patron. He gave them mony to run the opera house but he did not own it. And the old man is Raoul

  • music is "Requiem for a Dream" by the Kronos Quartet originally in the movie Requiem for a Dream. This particular version was from Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers preview and is on the LOTR soundtrack
