wow some of the live stuff is way better but axl sounds ok b4 he got 2 big headead and making crowds wait along with the rest of the band which resulted in him having bottles thrown at him in germany 2 name 1 insadent. for example bob marley jamming and no woman no cry jimyhendix live on the lulu show doing voodoo child are better 2 name a cuple and put on some of there albums eminem plus jayz funk up there tunes 4 live events and have extra gitarr keyboard funk players e.t.c put in

It was three dates in Tokyio, and the dvd is the second night i think

@fockyiododer Because the DVD version was on the 22nd of Feb..two days after this concert. They played 3 dates at Toyko Dome, 20, 21,22 Feb. The DVD version is the third night. The Second night was supposed to be for video but the third night was chosen instead.

for the vid! the 1st night they opened with COMA! these shows were all filmed.

@tayzz430 Due to all the technical problems of the Illusions Tour, Axl REALLY screwed up his vocal chords, I mean he royally fucked them up. On Chinese Democracy, in a few tracks, if you listen VERY closely you can tell signs of vocal damage.

Thankfully though, today Axl has done miracles to his voice, he sounds absolutely amazing!!! I would love to hear him sing this with the new band and here their take on it.

I think Locomotive, because of its sound, is one of the few original GNR songs that Axl's band would not butcher.

@thebigshotss Yeah, did you hear the Pro-Shot videos from Reading? Their is Welcome To The Jungle, Street Of Dreams, This I Love, and November Rain. All of them are beyond outstanding. His voice is really ragged at points of November Rain but by no means is it bad, just not what we are accustomed to. The outro though of it is freaking great, he really pulls his voice back for it.

@thebigshotss Same here to be honest. When I was little, my family (mom dad aunt uncle etc) were always playing music from the 80's and when I was growing up the first album I had was the illusions, and those were all I had for a few years.

Yeah, I think DJ was a great addition. All of his previous work has been great, so I'm expecting something great next time GN'R hits the studio.
