@LordMatt123 - I just realized your name starts with "Lord", that explains a lot xD and obviously does not allow you to be presumptuous... (i'm enjoying this silly, two-months long talk, for some reason)
@Glady210 Silly in it being a conversation on a youtube video that anyone can read but for some reason, no one seems to mind. Someone could write a book about this.
@LordMatt123 Why, thank you. But wait, do you by any chance mean to say that there is something more noble and legitimate than titles given by people on youtube?
(and now i wonder for how long will this go on *laughs in a ladylike manner*)
@Glady210 Considering how easy it is for someone on youtube to give themselves a "title" I would at first say that there is no such thing but considering how few people are as nerdy as I am who give themselves titles, I am more inclined to say that such a "circle" would be worth having.
(*clears his throat in a lord like manner* I'm inclined to say I hope this goes on for a while as I am getting a great amount of amusement from it)
@peskylisa the actual name of the song is called " Sous le dôme épais " (Flower Duet is what its better known as ususally though ) and the opera its from is Lakme by Leo Delibes
so gorgeous...i wish i could sing half this decently. plus trans-siberian orchestra is amazing :)

There's also another version of this tune called "Aria On Air" by Yanni - it was the version used for British Airways ad :)

Does anyone know which piece of classical music this song is inspired by?
LordMatt123 6 months ago
@LordMatt123 Hey there :) If memory serves, it's inspired by Leo Delibes' Flower Duet.

@Glady210
You are a gentleman (or a lady) and a scholar. You've just saved me from days of searching.
LordMatt123 6 months ago
@LordMatt123 Haha, a lady and a scholar? thank you *makes curtsy*

@Glady210
I could have just said gentleman but that would have been presumptuous even two months ago. *bows*

@LordMatt123 Silly in it not making much sense, actually, but hey, that's the fun of it :) I'm sure the book would end up a cheap fling, though.
Glady210 4 months ago
@Glady210 If by cheap fling, you mean a wonderful piece of literature, then I will agree. I'm a "Lord" remember, I'm right by divine authority.
LordMatt123 4 months ago
@LordMatt123 I thought I'm (by your quasi-divine authority) a lady, so I believe I'm the one who's right... Right?
Glady210 4 months ago
@Glady210 A lady who's apt at logic apparently. Touche, milady, touche. We should get some nobility involved in this to make it more legitimate.

@LordMatt123 From what I know, the internet is filled with these nerdy people you speak of; however, is there anything that you are trying to suggest?
(I am delighted to hear that. I must, though, warn you that I am a rather boring person to speak to... We shall see.)

@LordMatt123 The Flower Duet. I cannot remember the name of the opera, but it tells the story of a British soldier and a Hindu princess!
