  • great song great photo! thanks

  • wow thankjs for posting this is my favorite song right now.

  • Now this is the reason why i want to be a country singer, what a guy. never can be beat

  • Yeah, It's one of my favorite. I have the 45. IWTL is great, but I love the heavy Sun

echo on this. It's a great example of his sound.

  • If I could only hug Mr Cash...

  • just bought this on itunes for 69 cents. what a bargain!

  • This is my favorite song of his, the backing band and production is excellent as well

  • I think Johnny Cash's lyrics have halfed the time it took for me to get over my evil, coldhearted bitch ex girlfriend.

She will always be the way she is, bitch.

  • @FreddoX1 Same thing here :)) I wake up in the morning felling sad...but then I put on a cd with Johnny Cash and listening to it all day long. It's impossible not to laugh when you hear someting like "I can't forget the day I shot that bad bitch down" :D

  • @ARATROK Same here. His music literally feels like it pulls the sadness and the pain out from your body and lifts the burden that weighs your shoulders down. His lyrics truly saves people :))

  • johnny cash songs when one comes to my head i must hear it there you go

  • just PLAIN BRILLIANT

  • Actually, Cash wrote HOME OF THE BLUES in late 1955 (he insists it was BEFORE ELvis Presley's HEARTBREAK HOTEL was introduced in early '56) after remembering the name of a popular Memphis record shop he knew of. He had his first minor experience with jail after moving to California - a few years after HOME OF THE BLUES was written and recorded while at Sun.

  • My all time favorite JC tune........

  • LOVE IT!!!!

  • Cash rocks!!!!!!!!!!

  • one my favorite songs excellent

  • This song will make you pull your pistols!! Shoot um up in the air!!!

  • hess amazzing :)

jussstin made me listen too thiss.

nd i loveee it... and its honestly the truth

  • The Man in Black is an amazing Man ..

  • is it sad that im a 13 year old ''em0''kid who likes scream and metal and can still apriciate the classics like ca$h?and btw is that a real prision pic idk he was arrested...like i kno he had drug and alchohol problems

  • InYOurHOnOr, it is a mug shot from his arrest in 1965. He bought a bunch of uppers and downers in Juarez, Mexico and they found the drugs in his luggage at the El Paso Airport. He spent the night in jail and later pled guilty to a misdemeanor possession charge. Although he sang about prison life, he was never actually served time in prison.

  • The Best, R.I.P.

  • Anyone who doesn't like Johnny Cash, is truly a wicked being.

  • I LOVE Johnny Cash, but I think every one is free to like whatever they like. This don't make them good or wicked..

  • But nothing he sings is bad, or wrong, so how could someone dislike it?

I do not think it is right to listen to people "singing" about killing, sexual related topics, and drugs.

But hey, I am only 14, so I guess what I say doesn't really count... According to the other wicked people, the government.

  • Why not count what you say if you are only 14? :)

Btw it's great you listen to J.C. at 14.

But it's a matter of taste, you simply like something or you don't, it's a matter of freedom.

  • Government officials, AKA the morons in high command of our country, believe people at my age, 3 years older, and all years younger do not deserve rights.

Yes, it is very great! I grew up for most of my life so far in a country town, and it seems music like Johnny Cash's dawned on me.

  • You have every right to say what you think at 14 or 40

  • nice comment but what about cocaine blues?
