@midsmola12 It's not impossible. I've almost done maxing them out on a different saved file without help(well... I had a little help from gamefaqs.com since different social links are available on different days...even the weather can affect whether or not a social link is available -_-;) If you need help, look up a guide on gamefaqs.com

Do you get anything special when you max everyone out? Like the ability to SAVE izanagi-no-okami in the compendium...

Such a letdown that you cant to do that...or start the game with the same level as the previous playthrough, or use fusion spells. Why take good stuff from the prequal out of the sequal, that just doesnt make sense...

@CapitanKurosaki No, Social Links do NOT carry over. It wouldn't really make sense if you think about it, ignoring the fact that restarting a game with the improved characteristics don't make sense.

How could you have a maxed Naoto when you haven't met him?

It's not necessary to be in the NGP to get the true ending, nor is it necessary to have al social links or stats maxed.

well here is a way you can get all of them real easy like. do all the dungeon exploring and training and boss fight in one or two nights. Then that leaves you free to do social links and such
