@bilykopeki123 I just went to NY for my first open call- the audition for the non-Equity national tour of Spring Awakening. I got to stay and read, but no callback, but it was a great learning experience. I'll be auditioning as often as possible when I move to NY in July.

You know the song very well but you need to "express" what your character is trying to convey.Although it is not easy for a 17 yr

old to know what it is like to be "older",

watch/study people & use what you

observe in addition to what your character calls for. Again,your voice is GREAT!!! Stick with it!!!

ok first of all.... Idk what all of you are talking about. Yes, she does have a good voice, but she put almost no emotion into this song. She just walked around and moved her head and sometimes turned her eyes up... thats not being emotional, Its having no idea what to do. And at the end she was not supposed to go up on the last note. Thats not how its written, and she was flat and shaky. She should stick with singing (maybe) but not acting!!!!! Good luck to her.....

Your voice is WONDERFUL! particularly because it has a unique sound to it... it kind of reminds me of Judy Garland somehow :O I like though I like!

I also must say, I absolutely love all the costumes as well as the set, it made me squee because some Cats productions (the non-broadway ones) usually lack in that department and for me if the costumes/makeup arnt good then it spoils it for me D:

@rubblez We rented the costumes, and I think they were old ones from the national tour. They were very worn in! I'll try to put up other clips from the show. You should see the dancing! Lots of the lead dancers are working professionally now, and they were fantastic back then as well.

Your performance in this clip is extraordinary. Your gift for both singing and acting is amazing. I've watched numerous versions of this song on YT, and I find your performance more affecting and intensely moving than even the Broadway productions.

I think people don't understand that Elaine Paige's version of the song is perfect, so making a lot of alterations to the song will just make it worse. Well done sarah your voice is amazing.
