You cannot fully appreciate the Danko experience unless you see him live. I walked into a seedy college bar in the mid nineties after eating some magic mushrooms. I had no idea there was even a live band. Then he hit the stage, he was a big ball of James Brown mixed with Motorhead and brown chocolate sexy. He leaped across the barstools and jumped on my pool table. He commanded me to put down my cue IN THE NAME OF ROCK. It was like a religious experience. He was like a Rock and Roll Moses.
