On each clip there should be a little box with 2 corners crossing. Click that and pull the squares to leave out the black horizontal bars. Then your clip should be fullscreen.

just make the project 852x480 and 10000 squared aspect ratio 30fps and then import and edit then when u render make it the same 852x480 30fps and the aspect ratio 10000 squared and make it wmv9 format.. hope it helps

just download visual hub and run as a trial but it only can convert in 2 min clips but if its less then 2 min it should be fine, thats what i use for converting

Another thing for this video, I was experimenting in Adobe Premiere a little while ago, if you download directly off skate reel and keep the original resolution when you convert it (640x480), you can start a 16:9 widescreen project and just zoom the video clip in 135%. It crops it perfectly and cuts out all of the black.

he doesn't use skate reel, he uses a capture card or hd recorder. But if you go to google and type "anyfreevideoconverter" you can download that converter, I recomend the "MPEG II" option. Any questions and just messege me.

you need something to either play or compress FLVS. Usually for Macs you can play them with a SWF Player or compress them to any video format with Visual Hub. Just use google man its always your best answer.

You ever upload a clip on Skate 2? And when you check it theres a little Skate 2 logo on the bottom left? That is a watermark. If you have the filmer pack before uploading clip you have the option to turn it completely off.

your can also just edit the clips straight away, then crop it in visualhub at the same time u convert to mp4, just select autocrop.

not everyone has Visualhub :). Most people compress there clips right out of Final Cut/Vegas/Premiere which is fine. This should just give you a basic idea on cropping out the letterbox. Those who make Skate 2 videos might find this useful.
