A few years ago, a car suddenly swerved & stopped in the middle of the road. Nobody helped and it took me a moment to safely get to the car. Once I got there, two other people finally pulled over & helped. It turned out being car problems, but better safe than sorry.

There is no sych thing as a "bystander effect". It's a myth. The fact is that the vast majority of people simply don't care about life or the welfare of their fellow man. People only react if they're paid (law enforcement, fire, social workers, etc.) None of the people passing this man were paid and they don't care. That combination is the FACT that explains why he died. None of them assumed that someone else was helping. There clearly wasn't anyone helping.

I don't know what it's like in china (but that's different, since the girl was ran over TWICE, and someone moved her just to get her out of the way) but in America if you move someone who's injured even if you're trying to help, they can sue you, even if you don't harm them in anyway. I think the same is also true if you call 911 for them, not sure. It's fucked up. But I don't know how like, prevalent that is, but I mean you can sue for fucking anything in America and win.

It is same thing in China. One of the primary reasons that no body helped is because cases has happened where good Samaritans ended up being sued by the people they helped (and in some cases scammed) or were forced to pay for victim's medical bills.
Which is why all the people who condemned China, Chinese people, or Chinese culture as the cause are self-righteous hypocrite. If anything it demonstrate that China is becoming much more like the states.

For example, one old woman accused of the man who raised her up after she fell and the man was sentenced to pay half of her medical bill. People just don't want to get them into trouble any more. They were afraid the parents would accuse them as who ran over the girl. I know this is sick. Those few bad people harden the hearts of the good people.

I went straight to one of the vans and helped the lady out with the aid of only two other people. About 30 pedestrians were standing there, staring, and other drivers just kept going by.

Bystander Effect? What are these people, a bunch of stupid cows? I have a complete lack of faith in people, so I wouldn't trust someone else to step in. I also have a huge amount of compassion for people and animals.
A few years ago, a car suddenly swerved & stopped in the middle of the road. Nobody helped and it took me a moment to safely get to the car. Once I got there, two other people finally pulled over & helped. It turned out being car problems, but better safe than sorry.

So sad, I know if something like this happened I would help, i remember the time when this old man collapsed in the mall I ran to help him. Sucks that no one would do the same for me..god people are so careless, they just have to think how about if this was my mother or father, or little brother laying on the ground bleeding and 20 people passed by, they would be quiet furious, really upseting this mans life could of been saved..

There is no sych thing as a "bystander effect". It's a myth. The fact is that the vast majority of people simply don't care about life or the welfare of their fellow man. People only react if they're paid (law enforcement, fire, social workers, etc.) None of the people passing this man were paid and they don't care. That combination is the FACT that explains why he died. None of them assumed that someone else was helping. There clearly wasn't anyone helping.

Regardless, even if she did go to find the mother, how would she know who it was or where to look for her? And aside from that, she doesn't even handle the kid very carefully. She kind of picks her up and lets her upper body just flop forward with no support. I doubt that's not going to cause any more damage after being ran over twice.

I don't know what it's like in china (but that's different, since the girl was ran over TWICE, and someone moved her just to get her out of the way) but in America if you move someone who's injured even if you're trying to help, they can sue you, even if you don't harm them in anyway. I think the same is also true if you call 911 for them, not sure. It's fucked up. But I don't know how like, prevalent that is, but I mean you can sue for fucking anything in America and win.

It is same thing in China. One of the primary reasons that no body helped is because cases has happened where good Samaritans ended up being sued by the people they helped (and in some cases scammed) or were forced to pay for victim's medical bills.
Which is why all the people who condemned China, Chinese people, or Chinese culture as the cause are self-righteous hypocrite. If anything it demonstrate that China is becoming much more like the states.

For example, one old woman accused of the man who raised her up after she fell and the man was sentenced to pay half of her medical bill. People just don't want to get them into trouble any more. They were afraid the parents would accuse them as who ran over the girl. I know this is sick. Those few bad people harden the hearts of the good people.

I went straight to one of the vans and helped the lady out with the aid of only two other people. About 30 pedestrians were standing there, staring, and other drivers just kept going by.
