i think that at some point this may very well have been Scar's attitude when his older brother became first became king, but between the coronation of Mufasa and Simba's birth something happened to tear them apart and and turn Scar against Mufasa, just a fan theory, doesn't change the scar or mufasa as we know them but it 'could' have been an unexplored depth to the story?

Wouldnt it be amazing if Scar was actually a hero and loved his brother, maybe even being the one to save Simba and Nana against the hyenas in the elephants graveyard, telling Mufasa about Simba being trapped in the grorge during the stampede cos he actually cares about Simba, actually crying at his brother death and fighting with Simba to fight off the hyena horde at the end of the film so Simba can take his rightful place as king off pride rock. This video makes him the hero ide like to see.

I wonder if Scar fans would prefer that the Pridelands be a democracy from the start, not a monarchy. I feel quite bad for Scar as well as the hyenas, but in a monarchy there really only is one throne for each king. Unless of course it was a different kind of monarchy or an oiligarchy. Real lions fight for dominance, so if Scar were real he would have had a fair chance of competing for the throne. Rigid monarchy is human-made. I think there are so many themes, the bible handles with (like love, friendship, hate and so on) so that you could say the most films of disney are inspired by the bible... but that doesn´t say that this is true.
