Go to the rock you saw while saving the old woman. Also as for you question why the "things" are harder than the vampires is probably because they are vampires in fighitng form.

Wow this game is really buggy, but we like to see you tormented. I was rolling on the floor at the "boss battle" plus Greg running in circles, while a sniper shoots the wrong way. Or was Greg serpentining?
