Muslims are not alone also in believing that God only brings about good. We believe that God is all that provides us, and that all his actions are of purpose. I've experienced the power of God in some amazing ways in my life. For the Christian God is a tangible presence we experience; we experience an infinitely holy God when we have no right to, all because of the perfect sacrifice on the cross. Thanks.

You insight into the belief of 'protestants' is wrong. Christians do not believe in any way, shape or form that if you have good health, family, wealth and personal well-being that God loves you for that, or that because you have those things God loves you. In fact it's the opposite. If you look at early Christians you will see that they sacrificed their lives to spread some amazing news (not sacrificing others..), Jesus lived the life of a servant and that is the life we must live.

mashallah brother. my struggle as a muslim sister is my external beauty or lack there of, and i always ask why Allah swt didn't make me more beautiful. But it is the reason why i watched this lecture, so in fact it is a blessing that has brought me closer to Allah swt.

At 3.00 when brother Nauman says that Allah took away a few things away from you, so that you rely more on Allah........had goosebumps all over my body when i heard that. I have been jobless for a year now due to recession and recently found an okay job to survive on, but one thing this one year has done for me is it has bought me closer to Allah and his deen Islam. Allah wants me to come closer to him. May Allah guide all of us towards him and Brother Nauman May Allah protect and reward him.

@devil844 Alhamdullilah by the grace of Allah, I know have a good job and am able to support and provide my family with the best of things.
