@Rios70 Michael Vick is the only guy able to lead the Offense as a Running QB. They tried to put Eric Crouch at Safety and Wide Out. He's going to be a QB in the All American Football League soon.

@msvalley47 No Problem. I don't mean to sound rude or impolite, but would you really sacrafice a HUSKER game to save 40 Dollars. I am going to pay 130 Dollars total out of Pay-Per-Views this year, and It will be totally worth it. I guess it just depends on either how big a fan you are, or how big your budget is. I understand it can be tough to come up with 40 dollars in this tough economy. And good luck coming up with a budget for Nebraska! It does suck that we're 8th and still on PPV!
@NUHusker09 I'm a HUGE fan, have a brother who played on the '70-'71 Championship teams. I LOVE my Huskers, and watch tapes of past games over and over. But times are tough, so for a while it'll have to be radio broadcasts. Can't tell you how tough that is!

My brother(who was on varsity) two years ago at my school played against Taylor Martinez, we got killed but taylor martinez is just a beast. I wasnt so surprised that Martinez led his school undefeated and won state champs. Go Martinez!

@jwats1100 Well It's his first time, he's got 3 Full Seasons and atleast 11 more Games ahead of him, so we need to give him some time. I won't disagree though, he did screw up. Texas will find a way to confuse him and make him screw up. Maybe WKU would let him score like that, but no way Texas. They're too good to let those TD Runs in.

My dad is so doubtful, so he was saying over and over how inexperienced the Linebackers are and how everyone is going to be dissapointed at the end of the season of what was expected to be a National Title, and how interviewers will bug Pelini and he will not take criticism well. I think my dad is wrong, and I just most certainly hope he's wrong, because he says that we've got the possibilities of a 8-4 Regular Season.
I think Martinez is the guy for the job. I watch him and I see a little bit of Tommie Frazier and Eric Crouch, and thats just what we need. Nebraska hasn't had a "great" quarterback since Crouch. Its about time we have an offense with so many weapons now. As long as the defense can hold out this whole year and be the Blackshirts we know they can be, I dont see any reason why we wont bring another title back to Lincoln.
@Hskrfan22 --- I like the enthusiasm, but remember, this is THE worst team in the FBS. We should not truly evaluate anyone on this team (offense or defense) until Washington, maybe K-State. Waaaay too early to tell. Our offense looked good in the first game last year too, but we all know how that turned out. i'm not saying that we're going to be as bad offensively as we were last year, but we need more time before were comparing Martinez to Tommie or Crouch.

The only problem I had with Martinez is that he threw into coverage a few times and was lucky they didnt get picked.
