I discovered " Diana " ... twelve years after it'd been released ... in July 1969 , staying for the first time with an English family ... and of course, the teenage girl I was found this song ... sweet and romantic ... and I was pleased I could understand all the lovely lyrics in it ... easy words, nicely and clearly sung by Paul Anka, as it was difficult at the time ... to hear English all day ... and try to speak and make myself understood !
