@likwidlemondrop Yes, there are certain spins and holds that can cause some bruising or burns. As you continue to do them though, your body gets use to the movement/hold. You won't always be walking around with bruises and burns. :)
@XXjerkfaceXX Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. How are you liking pole dancing so far? I'm an instructor and post tutorials from time to time for my newsletter. You might find some of those helpful if you just started. Good luck to you!
You have some nice tricks, but on the whole, your dancing lacks skill and artistry. If you're just doing this for fitness, that's fine. But if not, you really need to work on your movement. You are WAY too fast (check out some of Aletha's moves if you want an example of good speed) and you are flat-footed most of the time. This is ugly. Try wearing shoes (high platform heels) or dancing on your toes. It looks much better. Good luck.
geat pole dancing!! sexy skilled and inspiring! i am a newbie and got my pole and have made some progress .. but i feel like a new woman for waht i have learned its great !!
Girl, I thought you knew! I haven't gotten a chance to get on here much lately. I need to check out your latest vid and see what crazy tricks you are up to now. :)
I haven't really been practicing as much as I should be so nothing special has been going on haha but I will be working on some stuff.. Check out my last video. I got a lot of good reviews for it :)
i really am considering taking pole dance lessons tooo myself. I think it's cool sexy and nto to mention GREAT for body fitness.
i'm worried about injuries and my capabilities though, i'm physically not the strongest girl, have like little muscle (mostly flab lol) and usually never carry heavy things.
Poling will be great to help you build up strength! I was very, very weak when I began myself, but pole dancing has done so much to strengthen my body. Just make sure you take lessons from someone who is not only knowledgeable about pole, but also fitness and anatomy. This will help to ensure your safety, and they will be able to progress you according to your abilities. Before you start, you could also work on push-ups and crunches at home.
quite obvious how the right musik input kan manipulate the central kontrol system 2 produce a flowing rythmn of movement. plug in the "wrong" tune and one will see all of ZerO
the stamina Xhibited says so much 4 the driving force that makes the dans so appealing 2 xperience
Great song, great band. Can't wait til they come back around. We drove one state over to see them last year. Would do it again in a heart beat. Great concert!
the are one of the best bands live, but by far the best band live are stone temple pilots. if you get the chance to see them this fall i would do it, cant wait for them to come to the uk. great vids great moves
was how you preserved a sense of beat in a pole routine...something I find IMPOSSIBLE--and I think it's hard even for the pros, too. ( I sometimes think this is why Metal ballads get a lot of usage in pole work) You seem to know how to "pop" or put movement "accents" while you are moving through your routine that match the beat. Also, there was a PERFECT balance of spin work, dancing, floor work, and aerial work all in a single video. A fully integrated, well rounded performance in all elements!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your detailed review. I put a lot into my routines even when they aren't choreographed. I'm also glad to know that my accents are recognized. It's one of my favorite songs, so it was really fun for me to dance to.
I liked tht turn out from the Gemini to the Superman at 1:00 ! Nice and smooth.. The falling forward spin at 1:12 is one of my favorite spins...but you don't see it that much...probably because it's a real skin ripper on the back of the knee, LOL! (I've tried it!) My favortie move in the whole video was your princess shoulder mount invert directly to the Tammy at 1:38 . THe tripod handstand work was real nice --especially the sit up at 4:15 . What impressed me most of all in this video (cont'd)
Haha! Don't be too jealous. It just takes moving the furniture from one room to another every day. I'm in the process of building my own little space though. Can't wait for it to be completed!

this might be a stupid question, but when ur learning does pole dancing hurt? Like when ur skin doesnt stick to the pole and u slide? Does it burn?

@XpsychoholicslagX You are very welcome. Music and dance go hand in hand. A good song deserves good dancing to accompany it.
