  • Jayden is such a little madam with back chatting

  • @MsJustinBieber26, stop being their friend and slap them back. If my child EVER lost her mind like yours has I'll help her get it back real quick! Nobody pays my bills but me, so nobody should be with a say but ME!

  • That girl is way too old to be sucking her thumb.

  • the parents are sweet too i think:).they´re nice people:)

  • When I read Jo I think in J.K.R

  • @MsJustinBieber26 I'm a little concerned that your 36 and ur YouTube name is msjustinbieber... Very sad

  • Omgosh! 4:58, I have that SAME EXACT clock!!!

I have mixed feelings about sleeping in the hallway. She is a big girl and needs to sleep in her own bed, but it could just be a phase she's going through. Although I do also see how she uses it to get her way with her parents...

  • i hate jo frost

  • mfer...

  • BAD

  • i dont think its wrong to sleep in the hall but in ways i do because i find it makes children think they can have there own way all the time n thats why they act like this my little sister used to not like her bedroom and she used to come into my room and either sleep in my bed or for sum strange reason she used to climb in the wardrobe and sleep in there.

  • Maybe the kid needs a night light. Maybe that might help. A night light and a dolly. See what happens with those.

  • Wtf was all that 4:46 LOL

  • Why the hell cant she sleep in the hall way? whats the big deal whats the crime

Its not preventing her from getting rest for school

  • Who puts their kids to bed at 7pm?? It was still bright out LOL.

  • someone needs to shoot the girl witha tranklizer

    that will make her sleep

If it works on bears it works on 6 year old girls :D

  • lol at american accents

  • @Techlology lol at whatever accent you have

  • lol @ 4:47

  • i love her bedroom if i were her i would stay and sleep i would get up sometimes but it well only be because i need something lol.

  • at 2:33 there is a cat on the stair

  • @stratmancruthers your point?

  • @stratmancruthers Oh my goodness, I hadn't noticed it!!! You've got very good eyes! My I say: "CAT'S EYES!!!" lol! ;o)

  • @stratmancruthers It's funny that we've never seen it until that moment!

  • ggfgggffhhhhhhhhhhhhgfvv v

    ffgfrgfgfhfrhfrgfrvfbgfbgb

  • @lennonrocks13 me too!

  • ughh jayden gets on my nerves still jo is amazing

  • Comment removed

  • @Gracie05452 i think its a name both boys and girls can have

  • @Gracie05452 there some names tht can be for a girl and a boy, man u sound like a preschooler

  • i use some of jos techniques and it does work all it is is conditioning. My lil girl has the dora couch and would sleep in it next to me and my husbands bed and we hid the couch and did jos techniques and it works and shes 4. Now she goes to bed on time and has her couch back but only uses it during family time to watch a movie or color and then puts it back i am so proud of her.

  • Stacy, what was that all about? What about the Naught Room?

  • You need to wear the hell out of the kids so they can't move at night ;D cause of fatigue! ;D

  • (maybe1princess) Did you really sleep with your parents until you were 9? Oh my, that's just sick! Your parents must have been really weak minded to allow their 9 year old child to sleep in their bed...either weak minded or pedophiles. I have a 4 year old daughter and she has always slept in her bed. The only exception is if she is sick. She is a happy, loving, self entertaining, smart child.

  • "either weak minded or pedophiles"

You really are a complete arsehole, shylarsmama. What a stupid fucking pile of shit to say to anyone. And why does your child sleep in your bed when sick? Weird bizarre inconsistent shite for parenting.

"self entertaining smart" - yeah, watching TV and parroting bull or some other mind destroying crap no doubt.

  • i agree with supernanny but that is a little extreme

  • I'm sure that did wonders for your parents' marriage!

  • yeah it did...

  • Whenever I see Jo, the thought of her being a lesbian dominatrix pops into my head. IDK why.

  • @ninasooz Really? what about the rights of the parents to have a good nights sleep and their own personal space. We are talking about a 6 year old. The Continuum Concept states that it is "normally at 2 years old" a child leaves their parents bed not at 6.

  • @321womble Specifically about the 6 year old, perhaps not whenever she wants, but at least they shouldn't shun her, children have good reasons and know what they need. perhaps their is a emotional problem that is getting reconciled when she sleeps

  • @ninasooz The problem with taking a tribal concept of child rearing to the developed world is that you isolate the parts we feel good about. Most of these kids would be minding other children at the age of 3, working hard by 4 and so on. Are you going to take these theories of child rearing as well? Good child rearing is about valuing the rights of the parents in tune with the rights of the child within the type of society they live in.

  • @321womble What are you talking about? No one in tribal societies work very hard. They are characterized by working much less than we do. i don't think letting the children partake in the work that the tribe does to survive is bad. It gives them a place of honor because they aren't just "cute." They are future responsible tribal members, so yes I would take that part too.

  • @ninasooz Don't get me wrong some of the theories I do like, but you can't just take them all at face value. We do not live in the type of society where it takes a village to rear a child, which in many ways unfortunate. The kids in the video already had a bad going to bed experience, at least SN's technique teaches them an independence of self to sleep for rest sake

  • no kids have no bussiness being in bed with mom and dad. they need to sleep in their own beds.

  • @singerdancer07 Why is that? Says who? The book that womble and I are discussing shows that children have always slept with their parents until they wanted otherwise since time began. So we have the whole of human history up until industrialization against your "opinion" I wonder which one is right? Please though, share your expertise.

  • @ninasooz you know what I'm not going to get into it with you. I said what i felt was my rightful opinion and if you don't like it then don't talk to me.

Children need to gain independence by being able to sleep in their own rooms, it's okay if a child has a nightmare to come to you that's common, but to sleep with mommy and daddy at a later school age it is not appropriate the parents are creating a habit that will and is very hard to break. parent's aren't Perfect.

  • I hope everything went well for her, and i hope she is ok now.

  • I love Jo. She's awesome.

  • Me too, @lovelylittlelin.

  • @lovelylittlelin you love Jo or you love to Jo?

  • @lovelylittlelin i'm giving you thumbs up for that!

  • that older girls horrible.

  • Oh God. This woman is teaching children and this man is charged with solving crimes. We are all victims of their ignorance and weaknesses. This is the kind of people who raise more useless mushroom colony, minivan driving, suburbanites.

  • It's so funny that the girl slept in their bed until she was about 4. Their kids are aged 6 and 2. In other words they didn't have sex again until they kicked jaydn about of their bed!

  • 0:09, I used to have stars on my ceiling! But they've now been removed a few years ago...

  • I believe what gets Jadyn in trouble is her attitude...looks like she's going to get worse when she hits puberty.

  • Im so jelous

  • this family doesnt seem nearly as bad as the others tbh

  • Ugh, hearing a 6 year old cry like a 2 year old is sooo creepy & annoying. Parents these days are just so damn passive & lenient. These kids will grow up to think they should always get their way.

  • Yeah, she's like, WAY too old to act like that!

  • my mum would of never got upset if I was upset about having to give something she would of just told me to stop been silly and showing myself up

  • i used to sleep next to my parents bed

  • Mom sounds like she's saying Night, Darling mom needs to go to bed.

  • wow billy got out his more times then that kid in the weston family andrew who got out of his bed 6 times for alot of things billy got out of his bed 8 times for no reason and he is 2 and andrew is 4.

  • @Babybear417

I think another family had their kid get out of bed 98 times.

  • ?? oooo k

  • Love the dad's shirt!

  • i sligfhtly understand why she wants to sleep in the hall, because when i was little i used to feel alone in my own room and i used to go and sit on the stairs and sleep there cause i could here my pereants talking and soothed me :)

    xx

  • LOL i slept in thier closet.

  • @SunnyAndLolly ...I use to sleep in the bathtub with my pillow and blankie...or my moms walk in closet...sometimes they couldn't find me....lol

  • @SunnyAndLolly I slept in the hall till I was 10 I only moved into my room because when my little brother was born my twin brother moved into my room so having someone to talk to made me less upset to sleep in my own room.

  • @SunnyAndLolly " sit on the stairs and sleep there" . .... sorry but thats not good....

  • @SunnyAndLolly did you overhear them fucking too? :p

  • @SunnyAndLolly Thanks for explaining that. I have a 5 year old like Jayden who will not sleep in her own bed.

  • Some people just should not have children. They are clearly unable to raise those children alone.

  • If I ever gave attitude to my mom like that I would have gotten my black butt burned to a crisp.

  • O_o...why is their bed time so early?

  • i agree!....They should clean there room up next.

  • is it really THAT big of a thing to determine where a child sleeps, as long as she is sleeping? move the couch into her bedroom

  • Yeah, the couch does mean a lot. It means she can bypass her parents' authority and have her way, that's why she hangs on to that

  • Jadyn's room is a mess xD

    Good technique, Jo.

  • Why not just move the couch into the child's bedroom?

  • I wish my mum had a mummy side to her :(

  • Holy cow! I thought consistency was the key? Why didn't she have to go to the naughty room for being rude the 2nd time?? And why are they so fn loud right before bed??

  • 3:31 jo herself was fighting back tears?

  • Jo is awesome!

  • I think everyone here needs to grow up. A) It is very hard to be a mom , I know. (I am one.) But to me it seems a bit obvious to me that this show is not real. Although , If I were 'Supernany' I would be so sure, that I would say the same thing. Jayden acts like my 12 year old daughter. So I believe any action taken to this problem, is an improvement.

  • what is wrong with that kid? i would have killed for a room of my own when i was that age, especially one as nice as hers!

  • sounds like my parents too. lol.

  • do they tell you to grow up like my parents tell me to?

  • of course. that's what all parents do. hehe

  • I thought it was just my parents been mean

  • aahhhh poor girl i think it's the parents fault for allowing her to do that

  • I started sleeping myself in my room when i was only 4!

  • godd people shes only 6 years old

  • ur nine?? Wow, ur young!!

  • and thats exactly what would have happend to me at your age.

  • duct tape works, too

  • i'd propose cuffs or a cage. that oughta keep 'em in bed!

  • Jayden is a bitch and a half i would smack that girl ass so hard

Dont bother sending her to Iraq send her to military school that way her ass will really get her bitchy attitude kicked

  • rofl....i can tell your children are going to be well manersable

  • you obviously have no concept of what even the term child development could possibly mean - please don't have children

  • okay sorry my only dream is to obey you except not

  • okay why is my comment negative your telling me not to have kids but still the rest of you get to voice your opinion

  • how old are you? you couldn;t possibly be a parent if you are to fucking bad your not my parent jayden is a brat i wouldnt beat her but i would enforce the disaplan sorry bitch

  • well she obviously likes having the couch because its closer to her parents room and she feels safer when shes in it,and cos she was crying she obviously feels further away from her parents when shes in her own room.

  • what she likes isn't what's best for her though. how will she ever learn to feel safe and have confidence on her own if her parents won't teach her? Jo's advice was excellent.

  • send them to iraq... let's see if they won't be discipline.

  • well you could. not only will they be disciplined. but they will be kidnapped and killed and the video will be posted on their website.

  • lol. i'm just fooling.

  • yeah i know. i bet some parents are willing to

  • that would really be terrible. they just need to stop spoiling their kids too much. lol

  • they need to make their kids live in a ghetto city. then they would really feel the pain

  • ye, maybe that will work.

  • i slept with my parents till i was 19 hahaha

  • same. sorry that some fucktards rated ur comment bad. they probably were sleeping with parents and breatfeeding till 21 and they trying to take shame off em by flickin u off

  • is it really THAT big of a thing to determine where a child sleeps, as long as she is sleeping? Hell, move the couch into her bedroom.

  • When I used to work in this kids play area there was this family who came in regulary and there son was 7 and he always slept inbetween his parents he cried if he went in his own room.

  • I can't believe Jadyn is crying because she cannot sleep in the hallway, lol.

  • I slept with my parents on a mattress by their bed until I was thirteen. They didn't mind at all as long as I didn't make noise. I don't think it's spoiling; I think it's natural to sleep in a group. Plenty of families in other countries do it, and people here in the U.S. used to, as well. What's the big deal as long as everyone gets their rest?

  • I was in the same bed until 10, I'm not going to deal with that. Some parents might want to have "them" time...

  • the little boy thought it was a game when he was getting out and in because the parents werent stern

  • joes a bitch thet the kid sleep in bed in the hallway its not like shes with here parents big whoop

  • I hate the Tafoya family episode of Supernanny, which is a Season 5 episode. It is an offense to gamers and promotes authoritarian parenting. I will never see a rerun of the Tafoya episode again.

  • Kids today are so spoiled! Just get rid of the damn bed in the hall and tell her to sleep in her room and that's the end of it.

  • Indeed, and once they reach 14, that's when they'll start being mean and basically want to be with guys, whichi s very annoying.

  • supernannys laugh at the end was wierd.

  • The thing i kept noticing is when the camera showes Jadyns room, how cluttered and completely messy it was. They put her to bed night after night without picking up a thing. suprised Jo didn't notice guess it wasn't a big deal

  • I saw that too, my father always had a very good way to make sure I cleaned up, either I could do it or he would do it, i think you can guess what would happen to my stuff if my father cleaned up.

  • oops i meant they shouldnt

  • sigh this 9 year old is a bitch i swear she sure has an atitude i wouldve thrown her bed couch away already cause this is ridiculous her parents should allow her to sleep in the hallway with the bed couch like this.

  • yea i know aye, but i think its a problem with the child not wanting to b away from her mummy and daddy, she seems frightened.

  • love this video

  • THEY HAVE A CAT!?!?!?!?

  • omg! no way.............

  • Yeah, I've seen people with names like Tae Kwan, and they had really hard lives. Also, I think that the point of the couch was that it WAS in the hallway. And that it wasn't in her bedroom, so if they put it into her bedroom, she still wouldn't be happy.

  • The other thing...why not just move the couch from the hallway into the room? Would there be that big of a loss in doing that?

  • Well, I sleep on my couch all the time, and I don't see a problem with it at all.o.O

  • Wow... I didn't realise that there were families out there like that! Jo is amazing. How can you let your child sleep with you for 4 years?

  • jo is a goddess! not god. BUUUT Jo is FABULOUS!
