Use the Hammer one. He's weak to bashing attacks. You can also switch to the axe as you're climbing up or use it in general. The Hammer however put on the hurt.

I say it's worth the buy, but your L and R buttons have to work for it.

You have to attack the boss or he won't break down the barriers.

Maybe because the japanese voices are way better? They fit the charakters better, and the voice actors put much more effort into it.

For once, they however did a decent job with the english version, but it's still nowhere near to the original.

Macir doesn't go as far down as Falcis, which is why falcis is a better choice

Holy shit, this boss gave me such a hard time. It took me a good 15-20 tries to finally understand his pattern and learn how to dodge them effectively. I used hammer glyphs by the way. They do a lot more damage than the sickles.

Yeah, obliterating him with the elevator in the end is ever brutal but satisfying. How did this game get a Teen rating! It's pretty bloody.

I used the throwing axes for this boss. you can usually hit him two times with each axe, and when he arches his claw, it hits about three or four times. It does drain your MP bar a little faster though.

If this is No$gba, you should try changing your 3D render settings to openlg, and GBA mode to VGA (poppy bright) The game will look a lot better.
