the only thing weird about germans speaking english is that a lot of germans can't get the "th" sound. and that is only because that sound isnt in their language. just as the "ch" sound isnt in ours as in "ich". when some germans try saying "th" it usually comes out as an "s" sound or "z" sound.

This is hilarious, 5 stars!! However, I'd like to point out that all of the German friends I've met in the US are quite fluent in English. Also, that sounds like British English where "th" sounds like "s." So, it's harder to distinguish "sinking" and "thinking."
