has any1 ever notice that dan always fishes on charter boats??? like im not dising him but i kinda think he cant find fishes him self and has to b on charter boats
weve got used to grey squirells and red signall crayfish here too, killing our natural stock of red squirell and white-clawed crayfish- American right-hand multipliers just another bad import, which too many have fallen for
thx-I think most Americans think Im crazy, but you really want your strongest arm
(90% right arm) pumping fish, and LEFT hand doing the less demanding work of winding in-I get so many insults in my mail-box pointing this out, but it seems to be a long time sinking in
but even ABU fell for this poor American idea in 1970's
the only reason my argument can be refuted, is that suddenly, 90% of then world population including fishermen , almost overnight, have become left-handed
@darkmossie633 I'm not disagreeing, but I will say that your dominant arm is only a tiny fraction stronger. I personally like using my left hand to hold casting reels because of the hand position it gives. Also, my right hand is much more coordinated (the difference in coordination is far greater than the difference in strength), which helps for fast reeling and sudden starts and stops with reeling.
@darkmossie633 Oh yea I agree with you there. There really isn't a choice but to use right handed ones, but when I first started using baitcasters I used my dad's left handed ones and I still like the right handed ones better personally.
not about the fish..its about the quality and how it brings in the fish... if you have good quality gear you don't have to worry about loosing fish or damaging gear, if your going to spend money put it toward something that will last
yeah his gear isnt good but hey he brings them in

When I tried to buy a left-handed multiplier in 1973, there were almost NONE/ZERO
available
-hence most fishermen bought right-handed multis. as there was NO CHOICE!
-therefore they HAD to get used to them

multiplier right hand,
usual american preference for strong hand 'reeling' in (LOL!)
and generally weaker left arm 'pumping' (where strong right arm should be!)
and notice arms and hands rolling around, using right hand multipliers
quite pitiful 40+ year con
good job it wasnt a 200lb sailfish
darkmossie633 2 years ago
@darkmossie633 exactly, im american and im right handed and prefer my weaker left arm and hand to reel
