I agree with everyone that said: POOR DOG! bad things happen, i am also a cyclist, road and mountain, but an avid animal lover - the owners should have kept the dog on a leash - but still - dont prosecute the owners - only give them a fine - i am just very glad that the dog didnt get seriously injured - he was so scared! and people say that its a stupid dog = well i got news for you! YOU ARE A STUPID AND HARD WITH NO FEELINGS, HUMAN BEING! get a life ...

on stage 18 today sanday casar (who won the stage) hit dog too! stupid owners not keeping a leash on their pets by the roadside. and sandy's crash today was even uglier than this video. no idea if the dog is okay b/c it appeared to have been hit by 2 riders...in the head :(

in a case like this it is *never* the animal's fault, but the owner's. the poor dog isn't to blame for how much intellect he has as a result of breeding.

if i was the cyclist, i would immediately make sure the poor dog was ok, than i'd go after the dog's owner for damages.
