@copleygsxr same like you i can't find the exhaust housing ar. this turbo is a "Bisimoto Turbonetics" BTX6565 it's a super T series i think with a B for Bisimoto i guess i'm pretty sure the exhaust ar is not stock moreover you can't see pics of the turbine housing inlet...... but it shouldt be a big ar on the dyno sheets it start boosting at 6000 till 8000 rpm quite high peak power. little power band so yeah big ar .

you could always throw a gasr or type r head on that block and ls vtec it. id say sleeve it and swap for some eagle rods and ferrara heads too since youd have the head off. Ive seen a couple boosted ls motors too. your already dohc you have mass potential of breaking 800whp easy.

I'm running the stock ecu right now and was wondering how much difference hp wise it would make to swap to a p28 ecu and have it tuned.

@simonnoitalay With a melting point above 1600 deg. F, there is no chance of it melting. Keep in mind that the down pipe, and exhaust system, dowm past the rear x-member, are made of stainless steel.
