did you need to run a pump, or at least tank pressure, on your engine? Mine will not sustain a nose-up run without tank pressure and even then only just. I'm thinking that I may need to go down a pump, or maybe a pressurised tank and a cline regulator, to get it to run ok.
I do not need a pump or pressurised tank. Engine keeps running steady in vertical climbs. But I did use the recommended fuel line diameter (big!) and distance tank to carburator (+/- 7 cm / 3 ").
Normally there is absolutely no need for a pressurised tank with this engine (from what I hear from other users)
yes this is with the rear mounted collector. See my other video's for an engine run on the test bench also with this collector. I think the sound is much better then without the collector (more "deep" / more realistic) but I lost about 500 rpm from max rpm!
is this glow fuel or petrol?

@Macsgrafs
This engine runs on glow fuel (5,5% oil + 94,5% methanol)

Excellent!
What size fuel tank are you using, and how long does it last (with typical flying)?
thanks,
James

@jamesjohnoneill ; I'm using a 750 ml fuel tank. A 10 minutes flight will take about 350 to 450 ml

hi,
is this running with the rear mounted collector ring?
sounds great!
