When i started grade 12 I was scared shitless. Here I was, about to complete my 13th year of school with its same comfortable routines, & I didn't know what the hell I was supposed to do. I was afraid of going to college, not knowing what career to follow. Growing apart from my friends. Not making new friends. Moving out. Growing up! It was all so scary, and i wasn't sure how i would make it through. But i did it, I'm still doing it, And everyone else with these doubts will too!
I know this is 2 years old but I can't help but comment about how weird this is. Today I was just thinking about how in about 2 years I'll be 18 and off to college, and reflecting on how scary that thought actually is. Wow. This is just what I needed right now.
who are the 17 jackoffs that disliked this i really don't give a flying f*^% about people but damn this has been the one thing that almost put a dent in that armor i hide behind.
I moved away from my parents at age 14 and i wasnt even done with my pubs back then, but still i wasnt affraid or anything. I just considered it as a fun journey, my own journey. Totally free from my parents. Its better to just jump into it than think about it before doing it. Trust me ;)

I have to choose what school I have to go to next year, its ether leave everyone you've ever met or start an entire new life, and i still can't decide. To add to that I've lost alot of friends, and one of them convinced my boyfriend recently to break up with me because they hated me and were friends with him. So basically m life is really changing, and honestly im scared,confused, and a little sad about it all :(
@ItzraininKatz I know how you're feeling about the whole school thing because i had to make the same decision. At the time it was hard but i can tell u that if u do go to the other school, you will meet so many amazing people. Yes, you might loose some friends from your previous school but through it all, you will find out who your true friends are. All i can say is dont worry about it and whatever happens will be for the best. :)
i keep being afraid of change, but then i do it anyway. isn't fear of change is just plain anxiety? i just keep telling myself that it's okay, that all the negative stuff that happens to us is not that bad. i hate to break it to you, but there aren't any other options. what's the point of a miserable life? you do have a reason to cry and hate yourself, but you also have a reason to celebrate and love things, and that's what will give you motivation to contribute to the world. posiductivity.
Starting a relationship... Loosing a friend.... I'm in that problem right now.... Best friends who both love a boy, and 1 won him over........ And now I'm about to lose my best friend.... Just way too scared.... To scared to face her, the one that crys over him and me being together. Then being scared of being in a relationship with him. I've lived a life of Hell, and I guess it still goes on even if I have my love.
Im about to... go to 8th grade... And im scared that when i graduate 8th ill be TOTALLY differnt. you know? i want to be as self confident and ass kicking as i am now...
My second fear: My mom is coming back after what 6 years? And.. She will be in my life again but not as my mom like as a random neighbor to me. i hate her. and i dont know how to react...

AWESOME VIDEO... I just got graduated from university and i was sooooo happy to finally finishing a career but then people started asking me whats the next step and i started freaking out... i already moved alone to another country it was hard as hell and now that im suppose to make the next step that will guide the rest of my life is pretty difficult to decide where i want to live, what i wanna do, what are my expectations... but one thing i know is I WONT HESITATE ANYMORE.

When I happened to come across this video I was expecting the usual teenage drama garbage that most youtube members spout. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised to see something really meaningful. It's good to see that there is actually stuff on here worth seeing. Change is one of my biggest obstacles in life so I can definitely relate to this.
This made me really start to think about my life, and how straight and narrow my road has been thus far. I don't seem to be enjoying my time of adolesence. These are the years I should look back on cherish, but Iall I can really pull out of it so far is stress and missing out on things. change is the hardest thing in the world.
i just started highschool, and it may not seem that big of a deal but i've lost tons of friends from elementary who used to get me through things. And i recently lost one of my very good friends and i felt pretty alone until i watched this video. Thank you zachary for being the person that you are and for posting this video. It truly means the world and more. Dont ever change.

When I happened to come across this video I was expecting the usual teenage drama garbage that most youtube members spout. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised to see something really meaningful. It's good to see that there is actually stuff on here worth seeing. Change is one of my biggest obstacles in life so I can definitely relate to this.

This made me really start to think about my life, and how straight and narrow my road has been thus far. I don't seem to be enjoying my time of adolesence. These are the years I should look back on cherish, but Iall I can really pull out of it so far is stress and missing out on things. This video has inspired me to start living more freely, as a more outgoing person. To come out of my shell.

i agree but all i luk back on is regret and pain n now im becoming more open im scared because im losing mi best friend because she thinks im completely diffrent wen im not n i miss it n i dont wanna be diffrent nd lose her but i hated being that person sshe liked because it wasnt me n now i hate the person i am because its making me be in more pain than i was before and im afraid of it n ive also gotta make one of the biggest decisions of mi life right now and i dont know wat to do... :'(
