My bunny likes jumping over anything too. They like to show off their speed and agility once in a while. Normally calm but then he'll do his "laps" around the house and jump on the coach.
@MrYasar13 I thought so at first. When I re-watched the video I noticed the rabbit could have gone under the last plank but chose to jump over it instead. Rabbits enjoy running and jumping. If this one was afraid it would try to hide under something.
More people who think they know whats best for the rabbit. Obvious the rabbit is enjoying the course.. and jumping.. (otherwise there are much more effective ways to escape from the so called "giant animal abuser" good job on training it so well :)
@SheDevil538 Errm, do you see the whites of her eyes? Is she freezing up? When bunnies get scared they stop, still in their tracks and sometimes roll up in a ball. He wants to do this otherwise she wouldn't go down the slide or hit the centre of the jumps he would veer off to the side.
@denisehopper10 Yes, I think I hit reply to the wrong post. That is a cute little bunny. I have 2 now myself. One is extremely friendly and playful. My other one, her brother died earlier this year so she acted depressed for months and is finally starting to be more outgoing again.
<3 Such an adorable bunny! I have a rabbit named Bramble too XD. But my Bramble would never do this, he is too lazy lol! You have done a great job training your bunny =).
Oh, I don't think he's scared. He seems to be enjoying it. There're some places he could hide if he doesn't want to do that. Only the brown (iron?) thing (after he slide) looks a bit dangerous for him?
Still, good job, I think he's comfortable with that and he won't get fat, thus ill... =) Good job =)
People need to learn to read a rabbit's body language, This rabbit is NOT SCARED it's exercising and they enjoy running like that. The the bunny was scared it would not have gone down the slide on it's own. To the Poster great job in bunny jumping training with your rabbit it is a healthy sport for both owner and rabbit!
The only rabbit body language I've witnessed is when they ARE SCARED.
When they end up in the tight coils of a constrictor snake they tend to scream a lot (which also makes them lose breath faster and make the snakes coils tighter). Sometimes these scared rabbits are so terrified they piss themselves. I once saw one spraying out a fountain of piss while being held in mid-air. At the end the rabbit usually empties its bowels of excrements. Great rabbit body language alright.
@WASPTexas it's obv. you've never had real interaction with a bunny, this rabbit is just as eager to please his/her own as the owner wants her rabbit to exercise and succeed.
@prinsess112 I disagree I've raised rabbits in that past, rabbits typically when scared typically run in zigzag patterns and short sprinted distances, and ALWAYS take advantage of nearby hiding spots. If the rabbit were afraid, one he would not have run the entire planned out course; two he would not have bothered jumping over the hurdles when he could have gone around or under them especially the high one at the end; third he most likely would have hidden somewhere.
Awww really cute, my rabbit runs n jumps when he wants to and ONLY when he wants to... Love how your bunny's not afraid to go down the slide. It took mine 2 months to dare to make it down the stairs on his own ;)
I have rabbits.. and I have seen them scared.. they tend to run and hide.. and for some of them they sprint out and suddenly collapse and in shock.. those situations are not good. always a good idea to keep them away from birds or places you know are infested with rats.. sudden activity from such wild animals can cause bunnies to panic. :(
HE'S NOT SCARED AND NOT KICKED (my god, peoplealways just try to pretend to feel concerned and just OVERREACT)!
Do you guys at least know a little bit about rabbits? A lot of them actually likes these kinds of exercise, it's even recommanded! I tried to push mine to do a bit a jumping, but like a lot of rabbits, he's more the lazy chilling type ;-)
@Cubanruby6879 actually, not at all. a scared rabbit will run and hide, and there are plenty of places for this rabbit to hide. the girl was not chasing the rabbit, she was running along side it. this rabbit was trained
@xGiinniiyx lol your stupid you can't even spell right and i doubt that your some kind of bunny expert that bunny is fine and their watching it so stfu =D
@SV5487 That is not a scared rabbit. Maybe just a bit from some unfamiliar circumstances, but it would be looking to hide. It would have gone down the slide then under it to get away from the predator if it were truly scared.
