Go HJG (historic jetliners group). All you have to do is sign up and there is all kind of old jetliners in different textures including the L-1011 in different models. There are also panels and sound to download and it´s all 100% free.

However my sound package does use REAL L1011 Sounds.

I did select the video game category during my upload process but it seems that was not enough.

First of all if YOU are willing to purchase me a REAL L1011 TriStar and pay for all needed repair and fuel costs I would be glad to make you a video using a REAL L1011........REALLY!

Untill that happens the Flight Simulator allows me to enjoy this Classic Tri-Jet.

By the way domscout all Aviators use Flight Simulators and or "Computer Games" for testing and training.

@KYLEAKAFLYBOIK This L1011 model is The Vistaliners Beta Tristar created by the great Eric Cantu.(It is freeware)The base model can be downloaded from Avsim with no panel or sound.

Unfortunately repaints are hard to find since for years this model had beta model restrictions on repaints and uploads that have only recently been lifted.

I hope to see some nice repaints of this model surface soon.

I dont think it is compatable with FSX???

@773ER14 I may soon release it as it is but it is not perfect yet and may never be.

Have you seen my Aerosim L1011 videos yet?

During testing I found it sounds very good on higher end pc's with good speaker systems and terrible on weaker systems esp. lap tops.

It has been a labor of love for me with many long nights of testing.

This sound was set up mainly for use with the Aerosim L11011 while using a sightly modded cfg(turbine engine data)Do you have the Aerosim L1011?

I have worked on them for a long time but have not released the sound-set yet.

I usually fly the Aerosim L1011 however the TriStar in this video is Eric Cantus'...Vistaliners L1011.

@toddsky661 I'm retired TWA and a huge fan of the 60s-80s. I like the birds used in your vid. I want to create a scene at either SFO or LAX using alot of the L-1011s and DC-10s with airlines from that era. My friends say I'm "stuck in the past". I use FS2K4 and I'm also looking for a descent sound pack for the Captain Sim Legendary 707 with the JT3D-4 turbo fan !!!

There is a nice file on Avsim by Doug Roth that creates a simulated boneyard parking arrangement at Kingman Field using default aircraft.

I did switch from the use of the default aircraft to a nice variety of low poly ai

aircraft.

The file to get your own boneyard started is on Avsim,created by Doug Roth.

The file name is: kigm_boneyard.zip

The file title is: Default Aircraft Boneyard AI for Kingman Field in Arizona
