@slashlister1234 It is often calm at this time of year, and modern ferries are so large that they don't feel that rough.Take a Stugeron travel sick tablet the dat before you travel if you are thinking it will be rough.As to safety, the ferries travel back and forth all the time, and I would not personally be worried, but if you ARE, sit next to a lifeboat! seriously, you will be ok. Enjoy your trip!
@slashlister1234 good for you! as a little kid I would be terrified of a rough crossing and the boat sinking, as dad used to say ''the sailors will pull the plug out of the ship if children are naughty'' [and what they REALLY were doing was casting off from the harbour, and the ropes were nothing to do with a ''plug!'' but have you seen the crazy Y/T clip of cruise ''Pacific sun'' I think...it is insanely rough-interior filming..worth a look.
im going on a ferry to france on sunday from dover.....is it always like this and is it safe?
