I have 4 Blood parrots for 4 years now. I love them great personalities. They always rearrange the tank. Must keep top quality water conditions. I am moving 2 of the largest one to a 75 gallon and keeping 2 in a 50 gallon. They are fantastic fish!

That looks like a Convict/Parrot Cichlid Mix, less of a hump back and the fact it can close its mouth. Often found in pet stores and sold as regular parrots(I had several). Maybe not though, pretty parrot regardless.
Not really. Sometimes if you selectively bred to have a closing mouth. Or hyridized with a midas/red devil. Nice blood parrot. and Im sure thats not king kong. King Kong needs a deep red, not orange.
i got mines for a regular blood parrot because the people didn't know the differences so i got him for 22 dollars... I think its not bad for a King Kong Parrot heh.
