I'm learning to play piano by myself, just started, and obviously I know this is way too hard for me, what songs would someone recommend for me to try? I really want to play this song, but I know I can't yet, around about what grade is this for?
I can play up to 2:32 :) the chords in the left hard before are actually pretty easy, I love playing that bit because it looks hard and impressive but really it is quite easy.
i am now able to play this song, thanks to sheet music and synthesia took me about two months to get it 5 months to perfect it but all in all its definetly worth it
People aren't really seeming to realize that this isn't a beginner's song lol...you have to have played at least 3 years or so before you can play this.
@kakajack8989 You just do not "fit in" with the group, its fine, outside of school people loosen up and realize life is a mess, a mess that they must clean up from their High School mishaps, you're not much different then anybody else and you'll come to appreciate that soon enough.
@kakajack8989 you're not weird, you have a music preference, for example, I love dubstep, old people would say I have no taste for music, but still I enjoy either piano or classical music.
@kakajack8989 when i was in school everyone was really into rap and nothing else. but i loved classical music and jazz. now 5 years after graduating im taking my taste in music and using it to write for a the AJC. i love my job and i still love music. music that the kids in high school still consider weird. but you know whats not weird? my paycheck. plus ladies love a man of diverse taste. it makes you seem adventurous even though its just the way you are.
@TheIsabellaHGomez go to google, type "clair de lune sheet music", click on the fourth link, then click on the other link on the page that u get to when u click on the link

i learned this song 2 years ago when i was 13 but then i quit piano and i forgot how to play it lol i just mastered all the way up to 2:45 then the rest i just didn't do
I'd really like to see Scott Joplin's Maple Leaf Rag. Not because anyone could ever use this technique for learning it, but just because it would be fun to watch.
This piece isn't to hard, except for parts in the middle, especially at 2:30 because the notation switches to sharps instead of flats. The part at 1:21 is easy once you get the hang of it, but some of the left had parts are hard when you try to put both hands together.
i dont know how to explain it, but it sounds like that part of a movie where a loved one has some kind of illness and in the movie they have this montage about all the stuff they do together while they have the chance but later on in the song, the loved one grows weaker and weaker and eventually they just wait for a peaceful death.
....yup. well, at least thats what comes to my mind :P
I've started playing it, but the part at 1:21 isn't that hard, the left hand at 2:05 is much harder for me.
I don't think that this is played by a human, or? It's by a program, i guess, cause some parts should be played rubato, which means that it can be played little different than it's written. Not the notes, but the sound etc. But at most of the parts in this version, it's quite ok. :-)
@teresahan1991 Your videos are the ONLY way to learn on you tube thanks alot, should it be a hundred times more difficult when you add the second hand? dont feel the need to answer you probably get tons of banal questions
@LumocGameplay i saw a guy performing this in the grand californian in California Adventure, for the lower parts, just tap 'em while holding down the petal thingy and problem solved!
@TheImmortal4190 A great idea indeed! Perhaps we'll gather enough gold (yes I said gold) to buy ourselves a lovely Steinway Grand Piano and play this ourselves then!
@MrFireball76 You sir, have now been banned from Youtube for an indefinite time for bringing such an atrocious abomination up on a video such as this.

@ibsnowedin100 um no you dont need pedals and i play along on my keyboard. depending on what kind of keyboard i think you will run out of keys on this song but yes you can play it on a keyboard.
@sweetnymphetamines its actually not as hard as it looks dont base your hand position on the color of the keys not all blue notes will be played with your left hand
