@theawakener7 When using PIA, always keep your other hand up to prevent from intercepting. It works most of the time. Unless of course...your opponent uses a stop kick, then yes...he has successfully intercepted you. More on the topic, if the opponent likes intercepting, maybe use ABD? Continue with PIA, but really...you're doing ABD. Awe man...combat is constantly mind games. =D
very funny...does this dude do some real fighting, sparring, competion...anything?? So he can back up what he s preaching. Im not saying this wont work cuz in boxing you do move in and out all the time. but then you Re not so stiff on your legs and more flexible and mobile.
ok, perfect, I'm agree but..........is very important how I take the angle. Beccause when I move my body to take the angle, if in this moment the opponent change the attack and come to me............I have big problem. To change the angle is not sufficient perfom a step, is necessary a specific body stance technique. What is this technique..........?
@cartuner22 I wonder if we meet a boxer and he doesnt give just one straight punch but a combination(one - two),then is it wise to make this step?I meanthat we came closer to his second punch..
@dlvt79 it all depends on the pressure with which the enemy advance, this pressure will determine to which side will spin. Do not forget that by the time of the turn, the attacker will be hit and this reduces the chances that launched a second punch. If this happens, the wing tsun man, advanced with his wedges, through the center line and repeats the procedure until the attacker is out of combat
Besides Sifu Sergio Iadarola actually being a Grandmaster, I'm pretty sure he'd be able to deal with a change beat or two.....
you guys need to chill though, seriously arguments can be constructive sometimes, but If you've never met someone you'd not know whether or not you'd be best buds face to face.
@nictamerepute What makes you think that? As far as i know his aproach is very theoretical, so he never fought, wether in the Ring nore on the Streets (with witnesses). I dont think that any of his type so called Grandmasters ever would get in the ring against a Boxer, MT ore Whatever...
@theawakener7 He would be able to,because his balance will be already compromise, plus it take two to respond to a fake,I will your Progressive Indirect Attack like a real attack.I practice both methods.lol
Looks to me like the first is giving up your space, so I agree it's a problem. But the second one is running away from the Centerline, which is another problem altogether

yes shure...haha. Jaupingjapptsching...haha. Sure buddy, no problem. why are always nerds attacking? WT-movies are always the same. Some soft guy stands in boxer pose and has no knowledge of real boxing and attacks with ONE soft strike! Then the WT-guy shows one fantansy technique or principle, stopps and explains theory over theory over theory. What happens, if and when and what....shame on you! WT is a MONEY-System. Go out and fight with your theory and don't talk and invent new shit
thats not the inside, maybe he has another chinese term for that, i think he was too late to take a big step to end up on the other side, i think he would have to make a dummy, and there is no time and space fot it. in karate they call this tai sabaki, its just very effective because the attacker is directing his energy already in the place you are not, and you have all the energy to attack him, but like in any boxing stiye any tactic attack or defence has its weaknesses
He looks like a gay bumblebee

@maxwellali You should challenge him. You could then tell people you got your ass kicked by a guy that looks like a gay bumblebee

I realise the idea behind it, but why would you go to the side with the arm that is still guarding?
Isn't it better to move to the side with the punching arm? therefore basically making sure his other arm doesnt have any chance of hitting you?
