  • Josphine roberts is my health teachers daughter.(:

  • anyone who is saying the DVD version is better, that is because they had a bigger budget than this one

  • I've seen a high school video better than this... disappointment D:

  • her laugh is adorable

  • urgh

  • People if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything. The costumes are the same as the Broadway company and the choreography is from the original show also. AGAIN If you don't have anything nice to say then move on. Thanks

  • ......damn they ruined it I loved the original televised cast i saw when they were in session in 1999-2000 they just look like drag queens

  • @PTPD7 actually they are very good, everyone has there own take on the charaters, and plus the outfits are the same as they were on broadway.

  • they act more like crazy monkeys than stealthy cats

  • Fuck those synthesizers (referring to the Macavity short bit).

I swear, they anger me. Every one of these songs sound 10x better without them. Why, U.S. tour? Why? Why can't you just follow Europe's example and use larger orchestras?

  • 5 people were robbed by Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer

  • @animallover2047 Correction, 6 people. I just herd someone's dinning room smash!

  • okay.. I love this! Even though rumpleteazer doesn't have the strongest singing voice her character is so cute and mischievious, and mungojerrie is so perfect, they seem to fit together so well!

  • sorry hngrego really im very sorry:(

  • Mungojerrie looks like a ape

  • @mungojerrie512 Don't be rude!!!

  • @mungojerrie512 i agree he looks face wise like a monkey. Is it just me or are they a bit breathy?

  • hehehe :)

    I luv this!!

And as of Rumpelteazer's outfit with the straps on the thighs.

If you look closely at Rumpleteazer in the movie you can see straps, though they are cleverly hidden :D

  • Mongojerrie looks like one of those ninja turtles...

  • i wish i got to see you josey in cats!!!!!!

  • This rump is a squeaky, non-singing thing...

  • I hope my high school does this! If my middle school did this, we would fail and not do very good!

  • they sound a bit westcountry instead of cockney! poor americans, but its cute :P

  • Munkustrap's like "Dmmit, guys!" at the end

  • The American accents kinda ruin it for me

  • @sausageyman I have to agree with you there, it played on my mind through the entire performance. However, I do love the mischievousness they bring to the roles, especially at the end. "He did it!" "You did it!" "You did it!" Made me totally LOL.

  • it was in california modesto! Gallo centerrr.

  • its so cute how they highfive before the double cartwheell!CUTE!

  • rumple's voice doesn't sound right. they're a bit out on the timeing unles they added stuff I don't know about, and it's a bit too fast.

  • i did not understand one word they just said... this was terrible...

  • I think it's quite alright that they're using most of the 1998 video's choreography. I feel it doesn't really matter as long as they don't mess up or anything during voice and dancing. They do the actual dance rather well. They do it amazingly.

  • They both have really dark eyes, ad Mungojerrie looks like an adorable little monkey. I like this. Rumpleteazer has her own beat, so cute!

  • I like the girl's voice, she makes the song her own and doesn't try to copy other people who played Rumpelteazer!

  • I'm not too much a fan of the girl's voice at times, she seems to overdo it way to much. ~

  • Wow.. they basically used the coreography from the 1998 video production. Personally, Drew Varley and Jo Gibb do it so much better. If they'd had their own dance coreographed, it might have been different.

  • They used the same choreography from the video because the video is Cats the way it was produced origanally. Its the same Gillian Lynn choreography from the origanal london, broadway and all tours. A broadway national tour is suppose to be the same as it is on Broadway.

  • Ah, I see. Well, that makes sense then.

  • Ummm, the national tour is the original choreography. (with a verse cut out.)

  • They have kept the choreography throughout every show in every language. The 1998 video didn't originate it.

  • Yes it did cos it's a restored version of the oridginal musical.

  • they aernt as good as drew varley and jo gibb...but still very good

  • @jelliclechristine its not bad for an American performance of this, but i agree, drew and jo are the BEST for this!

  • @jelliclechristine Yeah I agree with you :) but they're still good :)

  • @jelliclechristine yup i agree

  • mungo looks like a monkey lol

  • COOL! I love the, "he did, no you did it!" That was funny!!

  • uhhh uh great

  • That's an excellent interpretation, superb! Full of energy and plenty of giggles too. Really nice job!

  • I saw these guys in 2004.They are great!

  • i dont like mungos face....

  • Hmm this hasn't got anything on the British version

  • well it does say US tour

  • It was okay.

  • This was good really..but the british rocks

May i ask what happened to Mungojerrys face may i ask??? i cant see it much...

  • lol I like the 'he did it' section too. but they should have checked vocal talent. it was a great performance, wonderful, but some parts could have been sung a little better.

  • Personally I like the British version better. The American version just isn't the same... *shrug*

  • The "he did it!" thing is cute! I wish all casts had such cute improving.

  • I like Rumple better without the slutty outfit

  • Every Rumpleteazer has that on for this song. Some are less noticeable than others depending on the color/pattern used in the costume (like the Video 'Teazer). I personally dont see anything wrong with it, they are 'cats' after all ;)

  • its very true! i'm playing her now and i have the thigh highs,,,gloves...and a body suit! haha

  • wow...are you part of a regional or community production.

  • it was a community theatre production! im in the proccess of putting my version up!

  • I love the amount of energy

  • lol when i saw cats a few years ago there was technical difficulties and every singal light cue went off...it was crazy but the actors just kept going...i actually didn't notice until my dad mentioned it

  • I personally don't like Rumpleteazer very much. I also think that the make-up and costumes are better in the video version. But I'm just so obsessed with Drew Varley and Jo Gibb's performance ;D

  • But I loved the part "It was Mungojerrie... haha!" :D

  • omg zimbalore me too i just LOVE them so much!

  • the original is better but this is good too

  • lol the part

both: From a vase which was commonly said to be Miiiing

    Teazer: ...HE DID IT!

    Mungo: U DID IT!

    Teazer: U DID IT

    both: .... WAJAJAJAJAAAAAJAJAAAAAA!!!

that laugh sounds so maniac and funny! xDDD

    i love it! xDDDD

  • I'm pretty sure this we saw this tour's production....I can't remember-I was too tired to watch the whole thing!!! If they do another tour, I want to see it!

  • I so agree!! These two are.... I dunno... They sorta can't replace the video ones :(

  • ohhhh my gosh, these guys have ALOT of energy! God I want my highschool or the college to do this play instead of the one we're doing now!!!!

  • What one are you doing?

  • My highschool did "Little Shop of Horrors" and the college production did Broadway's "Beauty and the Beast". (I did that one)

  • Those are both good shows you have to remember there are certain factors that need to be considered when the show is chosen for a school, particulary a high school, one is the talent that is available. another is the budget which includes the sets, costumes, musicians for the orchestra director sand most importantly of all royalties! From what I heard the royalties for cats is still very high That would have been my school's entire budget for a musical.

  • haha! Yeah I know! I really enjoyed doing those musicals, it's just this is one of my top favorites.I'm in another play now! It's a children's play at the college called "Cinderella: Confidential"

  • ya.

  • good performance but i still prefer the one from the dvd dvd, cockney is so good for that song!! still cant believe they stopped shows over here :(

  • Man I miss this on broadway!!

  • i thought it was fantastic! :)

  • lol, Mungojerrie at the end..."it was....MUNNNGOOOJERRRIIIEEE!"

  • her voice really bugs me, but i like them!

i like the part "HE DID IT" "YOU DID IT!" haha that was great

    they had so much energy

  • i went to see the one at proctors (NY) 2days a go it was coool

  • I was there too, the show was so amazing

  • yea when girz went to heavy side it looked like she was on a space ship!

  • yea when girz went to heavy side it looked like she was on a space ship!

  • I Luv cats so much!Who ever took it off broadway sucks!

  • Mungo: It was MungoJerrie!

    Teazer: AND...RumpleTeazer!

    Mungo: Yeeah!

    lol I love that!

  • Is that Bruce Warren as Bustopher?

Great job you guys! I think Gregory Haney is better than Cesar :p

  • I agree with that. He is an amazing Mungo!!

  • Lovely performance! I agree, the dialogue was genius! The actors did a great job with this one!

  • Wow at first it looked pretty crap but it turned out to be quite good. I loved Rumpleteazers voice its so funny

  • this is great i love the dialogue in this performance! bravo!

  • i like it too! the moves are so similar like the ones in the movie.

  • Wooo I was at that preformance :) That was an awesome teazer and Jerrie!
