  • Why would the US fund the Taliban, if they are the ones who will target any pipeline being built?

  • ONLY Threats to this World.

The FBI has set up then knocked down dozens of terrorist straw men in an effort to convince you that the 'war on terror' is real. This is a very real war for your mind and we may all pay a high price for ignoring it.

  • personally think that we should just take Afghanistan and Iraq and all the other countries who hate us (when given a good excuse of course) and when the world says we did it for oil, drop the price of oil.

  • Honestly I think this is just all a conspiracy theory. Al Qaeda attacked us and they were hiding out in Afghanistan, that is why we invaded Afghanistan. I think Bush wanted to finish what his Father started, so he used the terrorists as an excuse to invade Iraq. BUT, Saddam did admit to bluffing about having WMD,s to scare Iran. Iran does hate the U.S, I found a few youtube users from Iran and Lebanon who claim the Nuclear age is coming, and they want to wipe Israel and the U.S. off the map. I

  • Afghanistan= Destruction of Pakistan and its Nuclear program and the complete destabalization of China and the rest of Asia

Iraq= Securing the dollar as the worlds oil reserve currency and eventually reshaping the Middle East.

  • Yea. I don't need CNN or FOX or you to learn from. I have more scholarly sources. The people in this "video" are lying to you.

  • @redblue18700 - By all means, then, please feel free to put your money where your mouth is by posting response video revealing your "more scholarly sources" and gracing us all with whatever the real truth is. We'll all be waiting with great anticipation. Or will you just run away and hide again like every other troll, and come back in another three months with some new nonsensical comment? My money's on the latter.

  • This is the most bullshit nonsense I've ever seen. What a self hating moron. Idiots like this know nothing of Afghanistan or "pipelines" give me a break. How many terror attacks do you have to endure before you realize what we're really fighting? Please don't reply to me, just spew your nonsense here without my name in it.

  • No need to worry about your name appearing here. I don't know it.

Self hating? Wow, project much? I truly feel sorry for people like you. You're so far down the rabbit hole of denial that you think simply trashing those who actually have the nerve to deal with the truth you clearly can't handle will somehow magically make it go away. Got news for ya, genius. Ain't happenin'.

The sooner you wake up and accept reality, the sooner you'll be able to make a positive contribution. Good luck.

  • @redblue18700 should do the world a favor and kill himself. One more dead neocon is a good one and step towards humanity

  • @UniteTheLeft

Excellent!!!! people like you want to kill other innocent people. Spoken like a true dip shit. Reminds me of Stalin. Too bad you can't see how totally bullshit stupid this video is. There are good reasons for being concerned of the Afgan war, but you're bullshit ain't it.

  • @redblue18700 you will once learn, and soon to learn United $nakes can't cover its genocide any longer or its puppet dictorial regimes, socialism is on the rise, the world will turn red, and there's nothing you can do about it.

  • Silk Road - this stuff has been going on for a long time.

  • I almost hope for their sake that they are just pillaging the remnants of the shattered economy, before fleeing the national grand dissent. :I

  • The problem arises when independent media publishes articles about it. ^_^

I never thought the Bush administration could be SO idiotic, this is going to mess up international relations for well over thirty years if it is recognized by diplomatic organs. :D

How can I as a student know more about politics than the whole off US administration in the white house!? I just don't know if I can accept the Bush-administration being so vaguely untalented. :I

  • souless oil whores, i love it

  • I like the video but, in my humble opinion, you have it backwards on the pipeline. The US is in Afghanistan is assure the pipeline Does Not get made. And, Pakistan is being pulled in to block China and India from the access to oil.

    - Don't you think the pipeline would have started by now after all these years?

    - Look at the Port of Gwdar on coast of Southwest Pakistan, built by China, to bring oil to China over a Pakistan pipeline. The US is trying to take this port over to block China.

  • I am not "shilling" for anyone. I'm simply stating my considered opinion.

Why shouldn't your viewers assume that you are a shill for Ron Paul?

Furthermore, if you truly believe that the Afghan war is about oil profiteering, then you are being less than honest about your own collaboration in that process.

BTW, your remark about "Israeli hegemony" is truly stunning. Considering nearly EVERY country in the Mideast is Arab/Muslim, I fail to understand how you could make such a statement.

  • Stunning? Apparently you need to do some reading up on Israel and the Zionists.

Our presence in Afghanistan is unquestionably about oil/energy and war profiteering, but recognizing this does not make anyone who puts gas in their car complicit in the theft of these resources rom the people to whom they rightfully belong.

Sorry. Your propaganda schtick doesn't fly here.

  • It's sad that you want to blame the "oil barons" but are unwilling to accept responsibility for your own complicity in the systematic destruction of the environment as a consumer of oil and gasoline.

I'm not huge fan of our entanglements with Israel, but neither do I believe that they are somehow controlling our politics. They are our ally, plain and simple. I find it interesting that you believe the "Zionists" are the real threat, while seeming to be oblivious to the threat of 'Islamicists.'

  • I wasn't talking about the environment. I was talking about the illegal invasion of country that posed no threat to us, the theft of their resources and the klilling of innocent people.

I'm not a huge fan of burning gasoline, precisely because of the damage it does to the environment. I would love to be completely free of it. Until that happens, I'll do my best (as I have been, by driving a small, efficient car) to minimize my impact.

Re-Israel: Google Alan Hart and check out his book.

  • Well, I AM talking about the environment, and from a holistic viewpoint; if the best you can do is 'minimize' your impact on the global ecological and political environment by driving a "small, efficient car," then perhaps you'd be happier with a smaller, more efficient war. Surely you see the ridiculousness of such a proposition.

If you are truly committed to justice and peace, then why not go electric? Or better yet, build yourself a horseful carriage, walk, or learn to ride a bicycle.

  • The best I can do now is not necessarily my ultimate best. I'm not perfect. Never will be. How about you?

Of course I see the ridiculousness. Which is why I've been advocating all along for full withdrawal from these senseless, illegal, immoral wars. If you're truly committed to the environment, surely you see the ridulousness of continuing them. After all, imagine what even a fraction of the billions we're wasting there every month could accomplish if applied to R&D for alternative energy!

  • @jperryam There will ALWAYS be oil war profiteers as long as there are people willing to buy the gasoline. Can't you see that you are part of the problem?

No, I'm not perfect, and I never claimed to be. But you are changing the subject. I never claimed you should be perfect. I just pointed out the hypocrisy of people who are unwilling to make a sacrifice for what they claim to believe in.

Maybe you should run for President. Then you could have all the power to make the changes you wish to see.

  • This video is about Afghanistan. You're the one who changed the subject to the environment. I didn't claim that you said I should be perfect. I pointed out myself that I'm not. I believe I can effect more change (and help get us closer to being free of gasoline) by encouraging others to speak out about these murderous wars and demand an end to them, than I can by dumping my car for a bike.

But now you're ignoring the subject you wanted to talk about. Can you not see your own hypocrisy?

  • @jperryam what country are you from

  • @SlaytonsStaves are u fucke din the hea do ue ven know how israle was founded?

  • Let me guess: you drive a vehicle which is fueled with petroleum products?

It's chickens and eggs: Like it or not, Afghanistan needs something to replace the poppy crops, and the gov't needs to have fuel security as well as the revenues from the pipeline. The pipeline is part of the economic development programme in Afghanistan. They need to have a real stake in the progress of their country. That's what the pipeline is all about. Will some people get rich from it? Yes. Is that a bad thing? No.

  • So you're okay with the torture, the illegal invasion and occupation, the indiscriminate killing of innocent civilians, and the fact that billions are being put on the American taxpayer tab every month to fund the whole charade while our own economy implodes here at home?

If you really think it's all being done for the benefit of anyone other than a relative few oil barons, "defense" contractors and their wholly owned government whores, I've got a great deal on a bridge in Brooklyn for you.

  • It's not a zero-sum game; just because some people are making money in this process doesn't mean that the process is not benefiting a lot of other people.

If you think the torture and killing would end if the International Security Assistance Forces left Afghanistan, then I've got a great deal on a Taliban trade route terror franchise for you.

You never answered the question about what kind of fuel you use in your vehicle. I'm betting you've got a thing for classic Mopar horseless carriages.

  • Good job with the misdirection. Too bad anyone with a clue can see right through it. I answered the question when I pointed out who the invasion is really benefitting.

The problem is not the making of money. It's the making of money via illegal invasion and occupation, the killing and maiming of innocent people, and the destruction of their country and our own own economy. All of which you're apparently okay with, since you avoided answering MY question.

    Stop shilling for war criminals.

  • I answered your questions, with specificity. However, I don't accept your premises. For one, these wars are neither illegal nor are they a "charade". The US Congress authorised the use of force in ANY country determined to be harbouring terrorists.

Furthermore, I don't believe the US economy is 'imploding'. Is there a recession? Yes. But it will recover.

While I disagree with you, it does not follow that I WANT torture and killing, any more than buying and burning gasoline makes you MURDERER.

  • Congressional "authorization" does not necessarily make something legal. They're bound by the Constitution (or at least they're SUPPOSED to be), which makes international treaties to which we are a signatory the supreme law of the land. The invasion and occupation of Afghanistan are CLEARLY illegal.

I didn't say you WANTED torture and killing. I suggested that you were okay with it, no doubt because you see yourself as benefitting politically and/or financially. You're part of the problem.

  • I'm not ok with torture or killing, and I'm IN NO WAY benefiting politically or financially, either directly OR indirectly from these wars. In fact, as a taxpayer, I'm distressed at the money being wasted, and as a humanist, I have been very critical of the conduct of the military. But I am not willing to delude myself that calling people names and impugning the character of YouTubers will achieve any goal, other than satisfying a lust for petty violence.

What do you think you are achieving?

  • And you weren't impuning my character when you accused me of being less than honest and calling me a collaborator in illegal wars for profit?

Your first post showed no resemblance to that of a humanist. There was no concern for the death and suffering of innocent people. If you don't want to be misunderstood, perhaps you should think a little more before you speak.

  • I did not impugn your character, sir. I think that everyone has a blind spot when it comes to self-reflection. This is one reason why our interaction could be a worthy endeavour..

And again, you are putting words in my mouth: I didn't call you "a collaborator in illegal wars for profit." I was simply stating rhetorically that if you TRULY BELIEVE that these wars are illegal or purely for cynical profiteering, then you must accept your own complicity if you are to be logically consistent.

  • John pilger argued the pipeline through afghanistan too, it's terrible what they are doing.

Btw this started as soon as the cold war ending, the US looked south.

  • Very nice video. Good work. Glad I found this account.

  • Very well done video. Thank you. 5*****

  • Excellent video JP, thanks for posting!

  • Pipe line my azz. The USA wants to control Afghanistan's Heroin trade which supplies 90% of the world. Wake up. What pipe line? BS. It always was about the drugs in Vietnam, in South America & in Afghanistan.

  • Not about the pipeline itself, and not just Afghanistan, but control of enegy resources throughout the region. Look at a map. Remeber that we're already in Iraq and Afghanistan, pushing into Pakistan and working like crazy to destabilize Iran (and of course install another US/Israeli puppet). All just so we can control the Afghan heroin trade? Don't think so, candy. It's making a lot of people a lot of money to be sure, but it's just part of the picture. Check out the links in the video info.

  • Just out of curiousity who is the pipeline supposed to provide? Russia is already supplying the Europeans with oil. And isn't those former communist countries working with Russia still? I might have my facts wrong, so correct me if I am wrong. It is all about controlling countries as well that is for sure, BUT those in control of those countries are drug lords & war lords themselves. The rich in general profit from wars that weaken & further enslave the masses.

  • I can describe what the "war on terror is in one word" - politicide.

  • it could be about the drugs also but believe me the pipeline is real. The only thing is that today not Americans or Europeans are building the pipeline. It is currently being built by an Asian company. Perhaps thats why America wants to pull out their troops soon because they've lost the battle over these pipeline contracts.

  • @candygir7

No, the pipeline is real enough. Sure, drugs are good money, but energy resources is used by every westerner in a much higher dependent cycle.

  • ships can reach all parts of Europe that are cold. a pipe line may be good to transport drugs to Europe with the oil. it was done so till now and they can do it without a pipe line. flooding Europe with drugs is much harder than it was before.

  • damn, citizens are tired paying taxes, dying for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • so stop letting them take your money ie paying taxes you dont owe

  • PS. I just checked out all the links you have on your side info bar, and that is a wealth of info... Thanks again...

  • Excellent vid post.. right to the point, and saying it like it is... More soldiers need to see these types of video's.. but it makes me wonder... How is it possible that soldiers don't already know? I've seen so many who really think they're trying to make a better country for all, and the financial part of it seems to elude them. I don't get it.

5 star vid, fav'd, and going to check out your other vids for subscribing. Thanks for the post.

  • for sure the war is bogus but piping nat. gas thru afghanistan to pakistan to india and china is only the CHEAPEST path if main consumers are india & china. if israel were controlling factor, pipeline path would be west, not east, main consumers europe, russia, israel - across mediterranean to atlantic to USA. not sure, does israel's weapons market include the Orient?

  • if ppl still beleive the 'war on terror ' lie they MUST be stupid as hell

    grrreat vid

  • Many are indeed stupid but they have also been programmed from birth by Israeli controlled media propoganda...thats why we must try deprogram as many as we can*

  • "It's about money! It's about oil!"

    It's The (New) Great Game!

  • It's always about money and power and control. The masses are always suckers, in one way or another. The CIA is at the pinnacle of the world terrorism pyramid. Their job is to ensure that terrorism grows or at least maintained at an adequately high level.

  • I remember very well, when Murray turned against his own govts policies, after being posted to Uzbeskistan, where he began to see the rot and systemic support for torture and extra judicial killings on behalf of the UK govt. This is where he drew the line. Needless to say, he was vilified by the press, owned by Rupert Murdoch, focusing on his sex life, his extravagant life-style, while serving the very same elite, which he eventually rejected by speaking out when it actually mattered.

  • I have been away from yt for a while but this was right on. What a great video!

  • There will be another 9/11 type event that will be worse than the first!

  • I'm anticipating the fedgov will use any method/legislation they can to change our current federal reserve note to a new north american currency. The current president is rapidly falling in popularity but they don't want to crash the economy. Mainstream media is desperate. I wonder if they will wait until after the holidays?...

  • What was our worthless Congress planning in their closed-door session of the House and Senate on March 13, 2008?

Do they anticipate a massive revolt by the american taxpayer? Is there another '911' headed our way?

    Thanks for the info John.

  • Main reason for the war the West has brought to Afghanistan: potential pipeline for grabbing the Caspian region oil and gas, good old imperialistic urge to control and ravage, create tension and cause conflicts in the region, and destablize India and China by generating ethinc and religious conflicts down the road.

  • Thanks for the post John.

  • John

don't forget the poppy fields (BIG TIME MONEY)

  • may be we should buy it off them and use it in medicine that will sort at least alot of it out northpal

  • Right on, northpal. For those who might not be aware, those poppies eventually become heroin, the market for which is bigger in Afghanistan now than it ever has been - The world's biggest supply. And when people watch the full Craig Murray vid I have linked in the info, they'll learn how the Afghan government controls all but a tiny fraction of that market.

  • Hey jperryam...thanks for making your movie.

    but...

Define for me the 'funding of the taliban' that you say is happening. You make such a statement with zero evidence.

  • Sorry - Zero evidence? You must have missed the quote from Col. David Haight of the Tenth Mountain Division. It comes about 3:55 into the video. I'd say that's some pretty good evidence. There's also a link to the full Aram Roston article (where the Col. Haight quote comes from) in the video info here. The article is titled "How the US Funds the Taliban." I would suggest checking out the other links as well, for a better overall understanding of exactly what's happening in Afghanistan.

  • since the Ronald Reagan and Margaret thatcher administrations humanity and logic has taken a dive you just have to look up mark thatcher sponsored coup in africa, money money money

  • The US is like a caged tiger fighting for financial survival. It will do anything including kill its own citizens for survival. If you look at increase in military spending by china and russia one can imagine world war as a possible outcome.

  • i hate it so much. it's so awful.

  • But they told us that the US soldiers are out there defending our freedoms, you know without them in Iraq, we wouldnt have the freedom of speech.................

Jperry or whoever reads this, please research the mysterious case of Joseph Moshe before taking any swine flu shot

  • This is SO like the US. I swear I don't kill anybody because if I started I wouldn't stop. Oil is just so 20th Century! Set up a few tens of thousands of windmills and change to electric cars and oil is obsolete. Even the byproducts of oil can and SHOULD be made with something else.

    Oil is YESTERDAY.

But only if we want and are smart.

  • doesn't the US have 700 "outposts" in Afghanistan, and don't they lie long the proposed pipeline route? also can't forget that opium growing has skyrocketed. oil and opium don't sound like democracy. Peace2U!!

  • Exactly right, same pipeline Unocal pulled out of saying the US gov needs to get control over the Afghanistan government first. I've been checking into the maps as well and have a bunch of them showing the NATO and ISAF layouts there, and yes it is obvious its all about the pipeline, as well Iran has an interest in the competeing Nabucco pipeline, that will never happen without Iran. Could be the real reason for seizing their properties.

  • Thanks for the insight. We must be reminded over and over again about are carelessness.

  • They ought to hang McChrystal, that ugly dirty bas***d stick!!

  • Great video as always, J!

    -Chantal

  • You nailed it and Aaron Russo spoke of this, Thanks

  • Another classic Perry! *****

  • Thank you

  • Yup, and the Churches shoulder much of the responsibility as well.

  • hey brother, i suggest looking at redpillradio. com if you havent seen it already .. have a look. thanks for putting this out there, not enough pple know this information and are quick to blame islam for everything.

  • War is a racket.

    The rich profit from it

The middle class pays for it

    The poor die for it.

  • The pipeline is one of the first things we did!

  • good vid, favorited 5 stars.
